Cheaper isn't worth it in this case
I have owned two Slendertone Ab belts in the past (as well as the one for the arms). Getting the beach body abs ready after slacking all winter is my main reason for these items. The Slendertones seemed to have the internal battery crap out after a year or so, so I decided to go with this item instead, and it was cheaper to boot! Well, I guess I got what I paid for, 1/4th the price and I got 1/4th the productivity. As another reviewer stated this thing must be near max to even feel the pulses (no matter how much gel I used). And even at max I felt nowhere near the muscle tightening from the pulses that I had from the Slendertone models. If I hadn't been busy for weeks working my cardio up and weight down before trying this out I would have returned it immediately.

It works amazing!! All my friends are getting one. Only thing I would change about it is the strap that goes around you. It needs more velcro to fit different sizes.

Waste
I got one off of wish that was smaller and cheaper than this yet it was more effective... I'm small and simply trying to tone up and this one doesn't really adjust for someone of my size. Its too big for no reason.

Ab Command vs. Slendertone Abs 3
Please read people's reviews carefully. This item for a EMS device is painful. The pads are non-replaceable so they are not designed to create a skin tight connection resulting in being shocked. My Physical Therapist recommended the Slendertone Abs 3, but that product requires replacement pads. Finding out there is a reason for that, any decent EMS device requires replacement pads to create a solid and painless delivery system for the electrical pulse. This device is an expensive mistake, pay the extra money and get what your Doctor recommends.
