Fishers Finery Womens Premier EcoFabric Turkish Style Terry Spa Robe Ultra Plush

I started with Fishers Finery after I purchased their bamboo terry hair towels and I fell in love! I now own several hair towels, one of their silk pillow cases and now this amazing robe. Every purchase has left me 100% satisfied! Now don’t get me wrong I’m absolutely a fan of and own several plush polyester robes that are amazingly soft on the skin and provide exceptional warmth but in my opinion that’s where the functionality ends. It’s well known that cotton terry cloth is absorbent and lends itself to “bath” products. But in all honesty it can be rough and well, not the most comfortable. That said, it still serves a purpose. This is where Fishers comes in and ups the anti. This bamboo/cotton blend in my opinion far exceeds traditional terry! It has a silky hand and slip to it. This is still a textured fabric but it’s softer and smoother to the touch. Is it as soft as a plush, poly fabric? No. It is however very absorbent and functions beautifully with wet or damp skin, areas where polyester robes fail miserably. This is a beautifully crafted robe. It has finished satin piping around the edges, and is also quite substantial! I’m roughly 145 lbs, 5’4, 39 full C cup with broad shoulders. I ordered the l/xl and while I have extra room I don’t feel like I’m swimming in this. I do have to roll the sleeves because I’m on the short side, for me this is not an issue and I’m sure a longer armed individual would appreciate the sleeve length. I think this is a fantastic translational robe during season changes due to the fact that it provides warmth but doesn’t overheat, simply because it’s such a breathable fabric. The pockets are great and even though I’m on the shorter side, I have no problem reaching them. This robe also has two options for the belt height, I love that! I washed this when it first arrived in cold water no fabric softener and dried in with a low/medium heat setting and it came out great! This fabric it’s a bit hard to describe, but seriously folks, I’m not blowing smoke here, I LOVE IT! I adore rayon and bamboo fabrics they just feel so comfortable and soft on the skin and that’s something I can’t get enough of. As I said, I’ve been nothing but delighted with everything I’ve ever purchased from Fishers Finery. I feel they make nice quality products at reasonable prices. I would recommend this robe if your looking for function that’s a cut above traditional terry.

Love, love, LOVE this robe! Just arrived a couple days ago and I don't want to take it off. Soft and warm, thick and absorbent. I washed it before wearing and it came out of the washer and dryer in excellent shape. I am 5' 7", 140 pounds, typically wear a size 8 or 10, and the small/medium fits me with room to spare. Both the robe length and arm length are generous, which was something I was concerned about based on a couple reviews. I have the sleeves cuffed and they are still plenty long. Very glad I purchased this item.UPDATE now that I've had this robe a significant amount of time: I wear this robe very often so it's been washed quite a few times. It has remained thick and awesome. I continue to be very grateful that I found and purchased this product.UPDATE: 3 1/2 since I purchased this robe and it's still one of my favorite Amazon purchases ever. Still feels like new after years of wears and washes. Not a stitch coming undone.

I was looking for a great robe like you get at a luxury hotel, and I'm pretty satisfied with this one for the price. When it comes out of the bag, the fabric has sort of a weird texture -- sort of like a velveteen -- that I didn't love, but that went away after a wash or two leaving the material soft and comfortable while still being absorbent. The first time I washed it, it needed two rounds in the dryer, so I was actually worried about it being too damp just hanging in the bathroom, but it seems to dry out fine overnight. The satin piping around the neck is nice, and it's thick and heavy so it really does feel pretty luxurious either to wear while getting dressed or to just lounge around in.Just a few things to note: the pockets are sewn into the front of the robe as opposed to being in the sides, so once it's wrapped around you it isn't really comfortable to rest your hands there. No big deal but a little weird. There are two belt loop heights, but both feel slightly high to me (even though I'm really short waisted), so I sometimes pull the belt out and tie it on my own. All in all, a good buy!

I really like this robe. It's soft, comfy, pretty. Fits nicely in the body...fitted just enough to be flattering without sacrificing on comfort. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's designed for someone who's much shorter than I am. (I'm 5'8"...not extremely tall!) I can't wear it with the sleeves cuffed like the model shows...wish I could. Really, The manufacturer ought to call this a "petite", and also sell a "regular" version with a few inches added to sleeves and hemline, while keeping the body fit the same.

I'm 5'9" and I wear sizes from a 10 to 16 depending on what type of clothing it is with my top needing the larger sizes; 14 - 16 for dresses, L/XL for tops. I bought the L/XL and it's almost too big. For a robe that's ok, plus I haven't washed it yet. The length in the sleeves and overall length is great.I was very pleased to find that the cuffs are not stitched into a cuff; they come unfolded and made to be "cuff-able". Very soft, very comfortable. I haven't actually put it on when I'm still wet; I'd think that would be like ending up in a wet towel, but I've never done that. If you did; I would expect it to be absorbent.The belt is also well made and holds its shape.It is delivered well packaged and looks ultra fancy making you feel special even before putting it on. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a spa type robe.
