This is definitely the best top coat I've ever used though it does come with a slight learning curve. I followed what others have suggested and getting a good sized dot of polish at the end of the brush then dotting it near the cuticle and pulling it down and across the sides. That sounds really similar to the same thing you would do with any other polish, but the process is a bit different. It took me a few tries to not have way too much. If you applying too much it will slow down the sides into your nail Folds and then once dry kind of create a shelf which you don't want. Once you get the amount right though, it dries extremely fast to the point where I can get up and go to the bathroom Within a minute or two of being done painting my nails. Such a timesaver! Though I will say it's much better on dark polish shades because it will ever so slightly yellow or darken bright polish colors.

Seche Vive is hands down the top coat I recommend every time — it’s fast-drying without a UV light, thick and glossy like salon nails, super durable, smells way better than most, self-levels beautifully, and the brush makes application so smooth and easy, I just use a thin base, my color, and two coats of this and I’m out the door in minutes with a professional finish that lasts, which is exactly why it’s been a staple in my kit and why I’d be proud to represent it.

I've tried a lot of products over the years, and Seche Vite has a well-earned position in my routine.Good to Know:- Strong smell - make sure you have good ventilation!- May have a learning curve!- Apply sooner than you think you should in comparison with other top coats; look up the "floating" application method.- For best results, use more than you think you need, because it shrinks a little as it dries.I love:- Its durable, shiny finish.- How fast it dries - I won't make any wild claims that its a one-minute dry (this is a lie in any product) but it is noticeably faster than competitors!I've purchased dozens of bottles over the years, and happy recommend to others!

great for making nail stamping skins. also works well as a top coat but is a little thicker than the regular top coat from this brand though just as easy to apply. would also work well for using inclusions/ glitter on nails as the thickness will fill in the gaps better than the regular top coat.

This makes nail polish last longer and I love how quickly it dries!

I always buy this brand of fast dry top coat. I hate doing my nails and then bumping them or doing something that messes them up because they're still wet. This stuff provides super fast drying and a hard shine. I even take it along if I go to the salon so they can use it on my nails rather than the product they use. Who has time to sit around while your nails dry? It's a real time saver.
