Great take used it for years

Brilliant tape, exactly as expected. Tough, doesn't crease or tare, very sticky. A pleasure to use and shall hold my shipping boxes together during my move.Will also buy it every time I need clear tape in the future. Not messing about with the cheap rolls from the bargain store anymore!

This is like standard office clear tape on steroids! It's thicker and tougher, but not as thick or tough as 'repair' grade clear tape. It comes into its own when you need to mail items through the post: not only will it hold light or medium packages together, it is also very good for sticking over the address panel to stop ink running in the rain. I think it would be OTT to use this on boxes when you move home (ordinary brown tape will do the job in my experience) but for mailing it's pretty good and better looking than the cheap gaffer tape I used to use for reinforcement.*Note on cost per metre.This tape comes in a 25-metre roll. It looks affordable at first glance, but most tapes come in 50-metre rolls. If you work out how much 50 metres of this would cost I think the price nudges this up against 'pro' grade competitors such as Gorilla gaffer tape. Just a thought. One star off for moderate value for money.

It's fantastic... I use it for everything and repurchased a few times... recently one of the carers broke my freezer drawers but instead of purchasing new expensive drawers I thought I'd see if this worked first... fantastic saved the day... only slight niggle wish there was more in the roll so I always purchase two at a time.

I bought this to use to stick Christmas lights up around my window outside so I didn't have to screw or hammer anything to my plastic window frame. It worked and kept the lights up all of the Christmas period, I'm sure it would have lasted a lot longer as it was a bit difficult to peel off with it being so strong, but I managed to get it off and it didn't leave any sticky residue.

It is fat, strong and super transparent

I have been buying this Duck HD Clear parcel tape from Amazon for years as I have always found it to be the best quality, thickest, clearest tape on the market. However, that has changed with the latest batch, bought in December 2023. I do not know if this tape has been stored incorrectly (next to a heat source perhaps?) or if it is a manufacturing problem but the latest tape I purchased tears all the way through the roll. That is to say, when I try to dispense a strip of tape from the roll, it tears through the middle of the strip and right along the length of tape as I unroll it. I thought this might just be an issue with the start of the roll but no...I have now tried to dispense around a metre of the tape and the same thing happens right the way through the roll making this an utter waste of money. On this basis, I would NOT recommend at all. It is not the cheapest tape and if you end up having to discard whole rolls of it, it just adds to the cost. I'll be trying to find a replacement for my once beloved HD Clear!
