ROYAL KONA COFFEE Ground - 100% Hawaiian Kona Private Reserve Coffee Medium Roast, 7 oz

I've been a Kona fan for a few years now and I've tried most of the top brands but somehow I missed this one until recently.Royal Kona has a nice aroma and solid flavor profile. Very smooth and low acidity.I rate it as one of the best Konas I've come across yet.

Love the aroma, roast quality and flavor

Got this as a birthday present and it was great. Item shipped as described. The coffee was not acidic, and it had a great taste and great aroma. This is definitely great due to my issues with acid reflux, this was a very smooth coffee and did not upset it at all. Unfortunately, this is a bit pricey for my budget and for the smaller quantity that is sent for that price. Most likely I will only be getting this as treat for me some time next year around my birthday. Otherwise, I definitely recommend it for folks who are looking for something that this company boasts and described their site, it did not disappoint.

Very good I would buy again

This is not a good “Kona” coffee. The front says 100% but the back of the bag clearly states 10% Kona. The amazon photos do not show the back. We all expect 100% to be expensive but $38 for a 7 ounce bag? Yes, I said SEVEN ounces. Don’t be fooled by the looks of a 1 pound bag on the website. Yes, they pack it in a one pounder but it’s only half full and it is not vacuum sealed. I’ve included a picture of the, as yet, unopened bag because I couldn’t believe my eyes. Can’t believe I fell for the hype. I will suffer my mistake because I was fooled by the photos and didn’t notice the weight online. But the outright lie of 100% is the worst I can say about this coffee and this company. Don’t buy it expecting great flavor either. It was very weak and no better than the Don Francisco blend of 10% Kona/90 Arabica from Wal Mart. Grounds in the bag are very dry and not as aromatic as you would expect for Kona. It leaves a bitter taste on the back of your tongue that just lingers. I was very disappointed with this purchase. It is just absolutely not worth the amount I paid to be fooled. Be warned.

It’s the best tasting coffee. Period. But it is so expensive I can only afford to buy it once/year.

Good coffee. Not as good as we enjoyed at the Mauna Launa resort on the Big Island years ago, but still good. Only 3 stars bc the bag is a total pain in the butt to get open (see pics). I was concerned my $5.28/ounce coffee was going to go flying everywhere as I couldn’t pull the bag open as designed due to a ridiculously strong seal. Ended up having to cut the bag twice to break the seal. Ridiculous. Be careful.
