Rubberized coat, very thick metal, and had the + piece in the middle. These did not affect the ride quality at all other than seeming making the nose feel lower. They fit perfectly in place and installing them were easy; however, the u bolts were pretty long and I couldn't tightened them to a spec. In the beginning, I was half an inch lower in the rear than the front. After installing, these, combined with new shocks, raised the rear to be an inch an a half higher. The level on my truck is gone (which is what I wanted) and overall I'm very happy with these. Also these came with very cool stickers. I'm very happy with those. Paired it with a 20”x8.5” rim with a factory +44 offset using only a 1/4” spacer and 35”x12.5” suretrac radial tire - zero clearance issues. People are waaaaaay too uptight about clearance. They either just don’t know what there talking about or listen to people who don’t know. I went to these from a 285/75/17 which people also said wouldn’t fit my truck but I ran them for 4 years with no lift or anything on stock 17”s with no issues???? So? Believe who u want. Now I have the lift and these 20”. Looks great nice upgrade. I paired it with the 3” blocks and the rough country monotube rear shock also.
