UPDATE: I wrote this review a few months ago. I wanted to hive you an updated review. I no longer have to have hammertoe surgery because this product has stopped all my pain. I still have a hammer toe on my right foot, but when I wear this device I no longer have any pain. I wanted to let you know that one day I lost it and found it in my dryer. I found that the material that it's made out of stretches out and doesn't feel as comfortable on my foot. What I found out was that when it went through the dryer that the rubber went back to the original shape. The material that it's made out of will pull out of shape after about a month and the device will slip on my foot. So after it went through the dryer I found that the heat put it back in its original shape. So what I do is every night when I take it off I put it under the hottest water that I can have and I find that the device goes back into its original shape. I put it under the water for about 5 minutes. This is very important because if you follow my directions you can buy one package and it can last you a long time. Before it went in the dryer I found that I was having to replace it once every month. Now that I put it under the hot water the rubber will shrink back into the original shape. But if you don't want to run it under hot water every night to get it to go back into its original shape you will have to use another one every month because it only lasts for about 30 days if you don't put it under the hot water.**** If you want to stop your hammer toe pain, you need to buy this now! I'm going to have hammer toe surgery at the end of July and I'm so thankful to have this. As soon as I slipped it on my right foot I no longer had any hammer toe pain! It doesn't slip at all and I can fit my foot in my shoe easily. It feels so comfortable on my foot.

Excellent product material. Works as advertised. The “firm” is still relatively soft and comfortableRequires minor positioning adjustment to accommodate a small fifth toe.

My toes are curled under real bad, so that my toenails are on the floor. Went to a foot doctor, he said it was genetic and gave me some toe pads. Then I saw these and ordered them - I wear them daily, as they are more comfortable than the other ones.They don't straighten my toes, but I can walk and jog without pain as the pad keeps my toenails up off the floor. No problem wearing in shoes either. The alternative is extensive surgery, which may not stop the condition coming back. So unless you need straight toes for your job - like ballet or other such athletics - I recommend this if you have similar affliction.

I have three hammertoes and this fits nicely. I be only been using one for three weeks and I can’t tell that it has helped reduce the “hammer.”The loop on that toe has stretched the loop and immersing it in hot water for 15 minutes doesn’t see to make any difference. Wearing these has, however, nearly eliminated the numbness in the balls of both feet (I had used YogaToes at night which also relieved the numbness but were hard to sleep in and I couldn’t wear them all day). The loops are thick enough to be durable but also fit well in some of my sandals and several of my shoes and boots as well. I like that there is not cushioning under the ball of my foot because that makes these wearable.

I had probably had hammer toes long before they were diagnosed, and that was more than 10 years ago. In particular, on the middle toe of my left foot, what began as a tiny subcutaneous black dot, over time became a sore/callus that grew and became more and more painful. For years. Not long ago it became infected, red and swollen with cellulitis. Three courses of two different antibiotics, and various scans (to rule out osteomyelitis) later, I started using Zentoes Hammer Toe Correctors. Now two months in, I couldn’t be more pleased with the result! First because the toe wasn't pounding all the time, the pain gradually subsided. Then little by little the layers of callused tissue could be peeled away. And using Flexitol (25% urea), the tissue has almost become normal again. That black dot is shrinking as well. For me, these correctors worked very well, and I am happy to recommend them. I hope that they work for you, too.

These toe separaters are saving me from getting surgery on my toes. my toes are hammer toes plus they turn into each other and rub when I walk. The toe separate them so that my foot isn't nearly as uncomfortable when I have shoes on.

Maybe these will help someone with weaker toes. There was nothing wrong with the product, however I have claw hammer toes, and when I put these on there was absolutely no difference whatsoever regarding straightening the toes. Easy to use and apply, comfortable and makes wearing shoes easy. It was worth a try, but some deformities require something much more substantial.

These toe straighteners are sturdy, offer good support, and are easy to clean, BUT, they are too tight for anyone with fat toes. I really like the same company's bunion protectors and their unlooped toe dividers, so I was surprised to find these less comfortable. After a few hours wear, I noticed deep red grooves in my toes, so I stopped wearing them and will donate to VVA so someone with more normal feet can use them.
