D'Addario Guitar Strings - Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings - EJ19 - Rich, Full Tonal Spectrum - For 6 String Guitars - 12-56 Light Top/Medium Bottom Bluegrass

I have used these strings for a couple of years now on my Guild F30. They are perfect, with the slightly heavier bass strings enriching the bottom end of the tonal range. This suits my playing style, mixing flat and finger picking, from full-on strumming to more delicate picking.

If you guitar lacks 'bottom' these really make a difference. I've a Faith Venus from the Naked series and it's all about the mids, but this definitely compensates for the lack of thickness on the bass end, it's not a miracle worker but the results are very satisfactory.

Longevity will not match coated strings, but they will last much longer than you would expect if you clean them after use. Tone is superb, fitted to my Yamaha A5 they simply produce a loud, rich tone with subtle sparkling top end. It pays to shop around as prices vary very significantly.

These guitar strings were recommended to me for replacing my 'old' strings, because my high e string burst when tuning. When I restringed it, It sounded lovely, warm and easy to play. My biggest concern: they are a different metal from my original strings. They smell like you have been bathing in pennies, they also look like they have lost their rose gold colour and turned brown. Cannot comment on their longevity and durability as not used them for too long, but in conclusion, these string are great for people who play guitar so much that they break all their strings after an hour of shredding and have no sense of smell. 7.5/10

I really like these strings, first time I've used them, great sound an feel.very pleased will by again.

Bought specifically for the 'bluegrass' tag, but frankly don't seem to give any more of a bluegrass sound than anything else I've used. Still excellent strings, but reckon that the EJ17's are better for bluegrass than these. EXP's are better strings all round for more general playing.

ただのブロンズ弦の方が安いですが、指弾きならばフォスファーの柔らかな出音がピッタリのような気がします。自分は好きです。安いしどこにでもありますし。

Queste corde offrono un’ottima combinazione tra brillantezza e calore, ideali per chi suona bluegrass, folk o country. La tensione “medium light” le rende comode sotto le dita ma con una buona proiezione sonora. D’Addario si conferma affidabile per qualità costruttiva e durata: anche dopo varie ore di suonata, l’intonazione resta stabile. Ottime per chi vuole un suono corposo senza sacrificare la suonabilità.
