It's perfect. The 3QT size is great for my partner and I. Holds the perfect amount of pasta, fruit, veggies I'm washing, etc. It feels sturdy when I put it in the sink on the wire rack. The quality is also nicer than expected, it's thick without being overly heavy and cumbersome to use. I can't think of anything I'd change about this right now.

I know that a colander is a simple kitchen tool and you might ask how could this one be any better than any other colander and I would have said the same. However, this colander is so dang nice for $12.00. I had been using the same nasty colander for over 20 years and just telling myself it still works, it’s not unsanitary, what will a new one provide that this one doesn’t? Well let me tell, it’s the perfect size, super high quality, easy to clean pasta starches off of, and insanely sturdy. Throw that old piece of crap away and upgrade your kitchen life.

This is a metal colander and it works. It’s good quality and does what it’s supposed to do. The holes are tiny, which I like, and so far no noodles or rice have fallen through yet. It fits in the dishwasher without any issues, which is a plus. No complaints from me. Good quality, it's not super malleable, and the mesh is a good thickness. I use it all the time. Worth the money. The handles also don't get hot from what I've noticed. But it won't fit on a basic pan if you strain from placing the colander inside it. You should use the sink.

It’s a very well built strainer, and it has very small drain holes in it, but it drains fast and is perfect for what I needed it for! I believe I got it for a fair price! I would definitely recommend this for anybody that needs a middle size strainer!

The strainer is fine to be used for spagetti-thick pasta, the holes are slightly less than 1/16 inch (likely 7/64 inch wide) in the bottom. The holes are not uniformly identical in the strainer: on the sides and towards the top they get slightly longer and thinner. As far as straining vermicelli noodles or angel hair pasta - it is hard to make recommendations, since the holes would allow let these very fine noodles out. At the same time, the strainer is better for usage as compared to the woven wire strainer, even for angel hair pasta, since the soft cooked pasta will not leave as much residue when trying to take it out.

I was introduced to this product as a gift for my daughter. When I looked it up I was very pleased and considered replacing my own colanders. After I got it and inspected the product and really liked how it looked. I have decided that I will be replacing my own. It was sturdy and the hole sizes were small and I feel will drain better than the one I have which does have larger holes. The handles are comfortable and it was easy and there was ease of use as I inspected the product.

This condor is sturdy stainless steel and the holes are small enough to rinse rice without it falling through. It's good for pasta or lettuce or any thing you wish to rinse or drain. Best colander I ever had. I cook often and it's great and cleans up easily.
