Finally, I have found it! For years I have tried to find the perfect ferret litter box - something that is deep enough, long enough, but short enough that they can back up easily yet not have anything go over the side. Sometimes that fits the Ferret Nation cages and doesn't stop the doors from closing. Something that is deep enough that my male ferrets don't miss or feel uncomfortable and go next to the box instead. This is it. If you have ferrets and have had issues with finding the perfect littler box if you've tried creating your own from storage boxes and struggled with getting the right size and fit then you should try these. They are more expensive than I would like but very durable and the plastic is very thick and well made. The entrance is the perfect level for my little kids to get in and out without having to climb or jump, yet high and small enough that the little doesn't fall out nor do they kick it out if they decide to dig in it. I have two of these now and have no intention of replacing them and, as I mentioned, they fit the Ferret Nation cage exactly so that they will not get in the way of the doors latching properly, but they are snug enough that the ferrets cannot move them. For other animals, especially older cats with are arthritis, I expect that they would work just as well and they are hefty enough that most small dogs or puppies will have difficulty pushing them around. Highly recommend.

Really, the seller should change the title and marketing info to include cats, as well. I have an arthritic cat with somewhat short legs. Getting in and out of traditional litter boxes was getting to be difficult for her. I tried many searches at Amazon and other sites with different strings of key words, and could find nothing on the market that would help, until one of the Amazon searches turned up this pan. The 24x20 size seems large, but no cat wants a too-small litter box. (Just like no adult wants to use a child's training potty.) A cat or puppy needs space to tend to business, so that the business is inside, and not outside, the box. Now, I'm back for a second box. I'm assisting a stray kitten who had 6 kittens, all of whom need to learn how to use a litter box. The entry is just 3 inches off the floor, making it ideal for kittens, arthritic cats, and any cat. My 4-year-old cat is just as likely to use this litter box as the traditional one with a high back. I use a clay-based clumping litter and don't have a problem with litter being kicked out of the box. But if you have a cat that loves to send its litter flying, then this may not work. The highest sides are just 5 inches. I keep a minimum of 2 - 3 inches of litter in the box, and can scoop the waste easily. Liquid waste that works its way down to the bottom of the pan still scoops up easily. I haven't had anything stick, and the pan itself is always clean on the bottom, saving lots of work in cleaning. When you're ready to clean the pan itself, a simple wiping or hosing down outside will do. Always clean your litter boxes daily, and then cats don't scratch around as much (or send litter flying) trying to find a clean spot!

I got this for my senior rabbit who developed arthritis. Large litter box that’s easy to get in and out of. Worth it!

Our small dog learned how to use Wee Wee pads on a snap together, hard plastic pad holder. Although adequate, we left it behind when we moved onto our boat and then I started placing the pad in a small shower onboard and our dog has happily been using that for over four years. But then we bought a condo and needed a new system. At a last resort, our dog will use a potty pad just placed on the floor, but was reluctant. In our experience, you don't want your pet to be reluctant to use "the bathroom", so I realized that what she wanted was something she could step into, similar to the shower on the boat, which brought me back to the idea of a potty pad holder. I like this holder because it is one piece and will not break. Easy to wash too. The size fits our usual pads, but we leave one edge of the 22"x23" Wee Wee pad folded and it fits better. That way we use the same pad for the condo and for the boat when we visit there. I didn't give it five stars because the tub does slide around. This can be remedied with some stick on plastic bumper thingies found in the hardware store for cabinet doors, etc.

This is the perfect size for dogs. We use pine pellets. Excellent quality !!! Beige matches our floors so it blends in nicely. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

People, who said you're puppy is potty trained and with this item in 7 weeks.... TRUE! Can nor believe my frenchie goes potty in this CAT litter box. It is Dec. And 20 degrees out. Puppy is only 3lbs. This is a must. Get the correct litter for DOGS.

I have the 24" x 20" x 5" Dog Litter Pan in gray. The pan is great and its one of the only ones that have a high side and are not the ones that hold the "pads in place" which are terrible if you have a small dog who lifts his legs- the pee will go everywhere. The higher sides on these protect that from happening, which in turn protect your floors from being ruined.. I have several of these. I have a senior dog who has always been trained to go on a pee-pee pad (as we call it). We do not call it a dog litter pan. This size is perfect for our little dog (under 10lbs). We use the pee-pee pad tray with pee-pee pads and not "dog litter" which I think my dog would not like. I have several others of this same tray and the quality is always great. I have one my first floor for my doggies, and also one also a spare for when we travel to other peoples homes so it can travel with us. It is extremely easy to clean- I will throw it in the bathtub/shower and wash away.
