They are parking brake shoes.
Cheapest brake shoes I could find. Seems decent. I never knew parking brakes could wear out, but mine did. Not too difficult to install. Only thing difficult was the spring pin to hold the shoe in place. But it would be the same with any brake shoe. Don't forget to adjust them after install.

fit perfectly in 2008 Nissan Frontier, ended up being a fiasco!
Why did I need new lifetime parking brake pads? Well I kept on hearing a clunking or rolling tapping noise from the rear end, of course my mind went to rear diff is crapping out. But I located the sound to the outside of the axle and said well bearing is bad, but no... it was a pad that had delaminated or come unglued from the backing metal. I took of the wheel and rotor and one of the pads from the passenger side was loose in the rotor. Best case scenario for that kind of sound. I put everything back on minus the meat of the pad and ordered these from Power stop, got here in a couple of days along with the new rotors and pads I ordered to redo the whole rear brakes. These fit perfectly and after adjusting the tensioners or adjustment tabs they work perfectly.Of note: Upon bleeding the brakes, bcs I had installed new rear rotors I blew the master cylinder which had to be replaced, then the calipers locked up on the rear and I had to replace them, then the fronts were shot so I replaced them. So thank goodness this easy-peasy replace the rear rotors pads and parking pads, turned into a $600 dollar replace rear brakes, pads, parking brake pads, front, rear calipers and master cylinder... Awesome. Don't you love Nissan??? I put on quality stuff though so this should be the last calipers I have to put on...

PowerStop is a company for excellent brake pads and shoes. I always use PowerStop brake pads on my vehicles and never had any issues with cracks, or premature ware on the brake pads. I highly recommend all PowerStop products.
