Our office training room previously had power strips mounted under the tables. This was clunky and awkward for people to plug in. We decided to refresh the room and ordered the Desk Clamp Power Strips and our Executive Team LOVED them!! They felt it made the room look very professional. There is a light on the power switch so you know when it is plugged in, and they were very easy to mount. We are now able to reconfigure the room, if needed, because these can easily be removed. Its nice that people can use the plugs or USB power to plug in whatever they need to, as soon as they sit down.

For the price this is a great little unit. We use it for the guys in the shop to have a phone charging place - works good and the quality is good too.

I got this idea from my office desk where it has a smaller 2-outlet port. This has better aesthetics with a mixture of aluminum and plastic. It also features an on/off switch and 2 USB power ports to conveniently charge your mobile devices. With this mounted on your desk, you no longer need to fumble around to insert your laptop power adapter at a wall outlet that is less accessible behind or beneath your desk. I gave a one less star because I feel it is a bit pricey for a product that is not technically complex.

If you are looking for something like this I would highly recommend grabbing this one. I have had it for maybe two months now and it's awesome. It looks way better than the other models I see on here and it absolutely does not overheat for me. I have my 16" MBP with a second monitor, using both USB ports and at least one additional plug. good stuff!

Went through 2 of these with no luck. I contacted the seller with no success..clamp was defective and one of the usbs refused to charge my tablet...no UL approved...both returned and I have moved on.UPDATE: seller responded but when I told them my problem they vanished..I’m done.,

I work in the automotive industry, and this is a game changer at work. I have my walkie and phone charging from the USB ports, and my tools battery chargers, and work laptop going off the AC outlets. It has stayed remarkably sturdy and reliable, and is very versatile. Only complaint is that the cord is a little short!

The product looked half decent but when I went to clamp it to a desk I noticed that the clamp wouldn't sit parallel to the edge of the desk. What I see happening is that the cord is preventing its side from going all the way in. And then on top of that I noticed that there is no grommet protecting the cord. If you bend the cord a little the aluminum casing is biting into the out jacket of the cord, which would seem to become a danger over time. I have a picture but I didn't see any option when the review was submitted to add a photo. However, if you take a look at one of the product photos where the cords comes out of the casing you can kind of see what I'm talking about.

I love this design, I just find myself running out of outlets. I wish they sold a six outlet version.
