The media could not be loaded.  Heavy duty, though for it to clamp to the smaller (upper) segment of a standard mic stand, you must wedge the second set of rubber inserts on top of the first-- not very secure until it's tightened, but then fine. Loosening is another story, though since the second set isn't really held in, they tend to fall out. Hopefully you're not in a hurry or on a dark stage, because that could be a whole lot of not fun.I LOVE the idea of the hex shaped insert and retention, though there is a fair amount of wobble side to side which is actually the retention and release of the plastic ipad holder itself, not the rest of the unit. All in all, am happy even though it is very expensive.

I wanted a holder that was sturdy, easy to setup, could fit multiple size tablets, and compact when put away. This one met all my requirements. It was worth the price, as I won’t have to worry about this piece of equipment for a long time. It is a very well engineered holder. I would definitely buy this again as well as anything from this manufacturer, as they have a lot of useful accessories available.

Very expensive but you’ll never need another one all of their gear is top notch.

I think this holder is almost perfect, BUT....... it will not hold my 12.9" iPad Pro while it's in an OtterBox Defender case! PLEASE make the thickness adjustable on future models! I'm a professional drummer, and it's a big hassle to take the iPad out of the case every time I play a show. Plus, it leaves my very expensive iPad unprotected when it needs protection the most - on the gig!
