I like this product and have been very happy with the results. The only reservation I have is that the item was posted from the US and the customs declaration had the value on it. To say the mark up against this value was 'healthy' is an understatement. Will be looking for another source if I buy one of these again.

Effective and not too long to refreeze

This definitely provide some relief, but not as they advertise. However, it is unrealistically priced. Since I work in medical field, I know that the gel used inside the device is not that expensive. I am not at all happy with the price comparing the performance of the device. The gel in the tubular part of the device lose the freezing temperature within 3 to 4 minutes, while the outside rectangular part retain the low temperature for about 10 minutes. Now thinking of it I could improvise something like this to cool the piles at a fraction of a cost. I am thinking of returning it.

We have had no success with the Anuice. It wasn't suitable for my husband because of other health problems. He is not able to lie on his side and his head has to be above his heart at all times. We tried to use it in standing position and that was too stressful and exhausting for him. He had the worst night I can remember after using it during one day. There is really no point me assessing the number of stars.

My thrombosed hemorrhoid actually burst whilst I was waiting for delivery of this item so I can't comment on its effectiveness. It seems like a good idea and simple to use but perhaps a little pricey for basically a plastic stick you put in the freezer. Mind you if it works it would be worth the money to get relief from a painful hemorrhoid.

It's very painful to freeze your hemorrhoids for the first several minutes, and once they are numb, this device doesn't stay cold long. The device is also too short and too narrow. It does provide some relief, though. Here is another method if you can stand the pain. Fill up a plastic glove with water and tie it off. Then freeze it, and insert one of the fingers into your butt ... with lube of course. Only for the brave, though, as this is even colder than the device above. You'll be doing some heavy breathing for a while.
