It's a very low price, and that was why I bought it. If I were a professional, I would spend about six to eight times more money.It gets the job done in a basic manner. If electrical wires are anywhere close, expect lots of static interference. And if you're trying to identify which set of strands in a network wire, again, remember the price.I give them credit for honesty though, they didn't claim this was some great product in the literature. It is a low priced item for a low price, that works at a basic level. I'm keeping mine.

Does the job

Works great allowed me to track down a cable that I thought was connected but wasn't. But it states it has dual tone capability but it doesn't.. Tore it all apart as directions said internal switch but it isn't there. Other than that does the job.

Works well, and is definitely a good tool. The pitch doesn't change which makes it a little more difficult to find things but not bad. The range of the signal isn't the greatest, but for basic stuff it works.

It works, but not very well. I wanted to trace some telephone lines in my house. The signal produced by the tester was only detectable 3-4 feet from the transmitter. Wound up using old school ohm meter.

i've been using the same tools for over a year without issue, but this toner (this specific one recommended by my boss) has the same thing happen every time. the little tip of the wand breaks off every single time, and yes it does effect the usage

Don't like the steady tone. The tone should be a unique high and low alternating tone.
