Really easy to read and full of information! A great book for adults who want to learn to code.

The book is full of basic knowledge to help get you coding. It covers a lot of different coding languages but doesn't go into enough depth for it to be the only book you would need, because of this it can be a bit overwhelming. It would probably be a good book for young children that are showing an interest in coding as it talks you through scratch that is widely used in schools.

Would recommend for almost-beginners.
bought this for a partner’s sibling who had just told us he wanted to make a career change. He had already started studying so I didn’t want to buy something irrelevant or oversimple. This was easy enough to understand, while going into complex lessons on a variety of coding languages. Would recommend, I was tempted to buy myself a copy.

Perfect Condition
Absolutely amazing book, very helpful and inspiring. Just reading the first couple of pages is already making me feel so much more knowledgeable about programming.

Easy to read, Scratch explanations slightly outdated.
It's a very informative book with clear explanations and easily digestible language. It's starts with the easy and progresses into harder coding.I'm still in the scratch coding section. I've noticed when using the online website to do the coding, the book explanations don't seem to match-up well here and there. The inputs are exactly the same, but the code isn't doing anything. I think the Scratch coding section in the book is slightly outdated, but still educational. It's causing issues when following the instructions, though (for this aspect). I think I'll have to just read through the chapter then do the online tutorials from scratch, as opposed to the books'. Hopefully it's not like this for the following chapters. If it is, I'll be back with an update. I will be, anyway, when I truly finish it for a proper review.I gave it a 3 star rating atm. It's subject to change.

Lovely book. Explains things in ways that are easy to comprehend. I’m excited already.
The media could not be loaded. Visual presentation is superb. Also words are not cluttered so it’s enjoyable to read through

From the off I managed to do some simple coding and haven't finished reading it yet.
