1413 III Ultimate Wood Glue, 8-Ounces

Titebond III has been a really reliable wood glue to have on hand for projects. It has a nice consistency that makes it easy to apply and spread without being overly runny, so I can get the glue where I need it without making a huge mess.Once the pieces are positioned and clamped, it creates a strong bond and has held up well for the projects we've used it on. I also appreciate that it gives you enough working time to get everything lined up properly before the glue starts setting. That's especially helpful when working with larger pieces where you may need a little time to make adjustments.Another benefit is that it's designed for both indoor and outdoor use, so it's a versatile option to keep in the workshop rather than needing different wood glues for different projects. The quart size is also great if you do woodworking or DIY projects regularly because you get plenty of product.Cleanup is fairly straightforward when you take care of excess glue before it completely dries. Overall, this is a dependable wood glue that is easy to work with, provides a strong hold, and can be used for a wide variety of projects. It's definitely something we'll continue keeping in our workshop.

I don't have the need to use wood glue often; however, my wife's dresser was coming apart because she overpacks the heck out of her drawers. It is not a high quality all wood building material dresser, so the ends of the drawer are a fiberboard, which the bottom of the drawer fits into a slot along the bottom, and it was SO bowed out, that the bottom would not stay in place.I have tried a few other glues and they dry, then the issue happens again right away, before even sliding the drawer back into the dresser. This stuff had good ratings and a great price, so I gave it a whirl. Lo and behold this stuff worked so great! It dried quickly, was clear on the inside of the drawer and easily applied directly from the bottle. There was no dripping, no mess just a quick and easy drag down the cutout. Once dried you wouldn't even know it was there, it was not tacky and best of all the drawer was back to new, maybe better! It's been a few weeks now, and it's still holding fast. At this point I can't recommend this glue enough! Now If I could just get the wife to stop overstuffing her drawers... if anyone has an amazon link to that item, let me know!

This is the best indoor/outdoor wood glue, and I use it for pretty much any wood project. Most recently for bird houses.Also used to repair cracked or broken pieces. This will not wash out of clothes (or anything else, which is why I like it).And to use to repair the veneer on a door that was lifting up. Its hard to get glue into such a tight space without cracking the veneer, much less to know the glue is all the way back under the veneer. So first use a paper clip to gently dig/drag out any pieces under the veneer so nothing is holding it up. Then the trick is get a McDonalds straw (they are generally bigger and tougher than others), cut off a 2 inch section (or however long you need to reach all the way under the veneer). Then make a about 1/4 to 1/2 inch cut on each side of one end to help fit it over the top of the glue bottle, and tape it in place. Then the other end can be smashed flat enough to reach under the veneer all the way to the back to squirt in the glue.Anyway, I use this stuff all the time, and works great every time.

This is an excellent glue. It bonded the ceramic tile to the plastic container that I needed to put wheels on. The excess glue is easy to clean

product is to thin for my geneeral use. when trying to position vertical the glue tends to run off quickly.other then the thin...product works great.

So far so good...I needed to re-assemble a really, really old end grain cutting board. It's so old the original glue had failed and it was ever so slowly falling apart. I started off with regular Gorilla wood glue (not the one that foams) and discovered the hard way, that glue has just about zero water resistance. The board had gotten covered with all sorts of crud during the reassembly process so I set it to soak in hot water, detergent and borax for a couple of hours...Don't do that.The board fell apart right at the new glue seams...Wary now, I did a lot of searching specifically for wood glues recommended for endgrain cutting boards. Whaddya know? There really is a glue that is specially recommended for this purpose. Woodworker after woodworker recommended the Titebond 2 as just right for cutting boards. Titebond 3 is even more water resistant than #2 but the cost...Knowing me and my ability to forget things soaking in the sink, I went with Titebond 3.I was quite surprised to find this glue really does wipe off with just water. I was expecting something much more difficult (like the foaming gorilla glue). The odor was, well, glue-like. Identical to Elmers... It was mild enough that I never felt the need for additional ventilation.The set time was generous. I had no problem assembling everything before the glue dried on me. The recommended clamp time is 24 hours.My board had fallen apart into enough pieces that I decided to err on the side of caution and ordered the 8 oz size. Turns out the 4 oz size would have been more than enough. For some reason, I went through much more of the gorilla glue than the Titebond....And after much gluing, clamping and final sanding to clean up the glue smears, my cutting board seems to be good as new.I was pretty blown away by the price/quality for this glue. It's more than price competitive.Eek! I am discovering the hard way that mineral oil will dissolve titebond. Eventually. There was one seam where I didn't clamp hard enough. There were some spots where the wood wasn't making great contact. It was just titebond filling the gap. Alas the mineral oil worked it's way in, the titebond softened and I could scrap out the bits of titebond peeking out. On the other hand the rest of the seam was clamped properly and it doesn't look like the seam is going to give up the ghost anytime soon.Well rats!
