This is a decent hole punch set for the price.I used it to cut holes in a 1/8" thick piece of rubber gasket material.Worked great!Even comes with a pad to put under the material to keep the punches sharp.Should work well on a variety of materials

Looked at many of these punches and settled on these because of the feedback. I was NOT disappointed. They are excellent and by far some of the best I have ever used. They are sharp, punch uniform round holes and the cut holes stack up inside the punch nicely until you push then out or you punch so many holes as I did, until they extract/push themselves out. Comes with nice punch plate, that is not large but sufficient for many jobs. The punches are made out of good hard steel and after over 100 holes punched they had only marks and no flaring. I would buy these again. 100% satisfied

I ordered these for cutting small holes in newsprint. At first I thought they didn't work because I was just pushing on them and twisting. I was going to return them, but decided to try a mallet first, and wow! The punches make clean, perfect holes. I wish I had known about these sooner. I gave four stars because I want to know what the sharp sides are for, but there are no instructions. I appreciate that these include a tiny cutting mat.

This leather punch set works great! I easily added 2 holes to 3 different belts in under 5 minutes and I am happy with the results. The only improvement I would love to see is aligning the cutting mat gridlines at 1/4", 1/2", or 1" intervals to make it easier to line up my belts, which all have holes spaced 1" apart.

Wow, this is a fantastic leather punch set! Comes with a very nice storage case and a backing pad to use while punching. The punches go through leather like butter, even my double thick carry belts. Cover me impressed, this is a fantastic set at a more than reasonable price!

Pros: * Functional case * Quick delivery * Razor sharp. * Appear to be well machined * Includes a cutting pad Cons: * There is no place in the case to store the cutting pad. * Cutting pad is very soft. Needed this for a project. It did a much better job than the plier types that have a rotating wheel. These hollow cutters are razor sharp so it took very gentle taps to cut through the leather. I would suggest that you do your work on a cutting board as the included pad appears to be made from pressed paper and will easily be sliced all the way through. Overall, good value for the money. I didn’t see the need to look elsewhere.
