Useful and Attractive
I purchased some for myself and some for my daughter-in-law to try. They arrived quickly and I put them to work right away. I'm growing tomatoes in mine and they are doing very well. We've already picked a few tomatoes and it's still early-ish for us. The plants seem happy.Unlike other types of planters such as plastic, ceramic, clay, etc., you can use regular garden soil with these fabric planters. If you have good soil, you can also just dig up soil from your yard and put it in these. With non-fabric planters you must use potting mix (not garden soil, but potting mix). With these you can use potting mix or garden soil.Anyhow, these are attractive and the handles make it easy to move them if needed. The corner pockets that accommodate plant supports is sheer genius. They also have a little support inside around the top, which keeps the material from flopping inward. While they may not be big enough to grow potatoes or sweet potatoes, they work fine for tomatoes and peppers and all sorts of flowers.I've used other fabric planters in the past, but they weren't very attractive and they were too big. They also flopped quite a bit around the top when the soil settled in them. Plus it was difficult to empty and clean them after the season was over. I kept a couple of big ones for growing potatoes, but threw the others away in favor of these. These are now my favorite fabric planters. I'm waiting to see how well they clean up after the season is done. I don't know if I'll put them in my regular washer (dried dirt and washing machines aren't all that compatible), but maybe I'll get a hand washer - like for camping - and try washing them that way.I will order more next year, as they make planting easy and low maintenance.

If You Can Build It, The Plants Will Come
I am very happy so far. I love the color, quality, material, and simple design. I found out from BloemProducts themselves what specific plastic the bag is made of . . . it's high density polyethylene (HDPE), for those of you who care. Still not sure if it's safer than PET plastic, but apparently it's safe for growing edibles.I bought the separately-purchased staking kit, too, and I'm very pleased with how the stakes inserted well and coordinated pretty well with the bag.My issues are so far only with the staking kit (separately purchased) assembly process. No instructions came with it that I noticed. I'm assembly-challenged, so I had a couple of hiccups when I wasn't clear how pieces of the staking kit are to be used. Specifically, at first I I wondered about the cylinders attached to some of the crossbars. I eventually realized those cylinders were merely to attach sets of crossbars together for packaging. Also was confused by why the crossbars were packaged in sets of 3 rather than 4 crossbars, since 4 are used at each level. Still wonder but I got over it. Also froze for a bit over the "connectors" but figured that out too....they're to let you connect the stake tops to the next upcoming level of stakes. Also wasn't sure whether to let the dirt cover the dangling cord that I figured out where to position from watching a YouTube QVC video. Opted to keep it clear from inside the bag until all the dirt was in. Oh yeah, and I still wonder about that extra (?) crossbar with the hole in it, apparently for use with the rope . . . somehow.
