My son is 2.5 and loves to draw and color. Had been looking at these water mats and decided to get one. I see this being something he can enjoy for a few years. There are letters and numbers to trace along the outside, though he’s not quite able to do that yet. But enjoys scribbling and seeing the different colors. Pens are super easy to use. Just fill with water, screw on the caps and you’re ready to draw. Everything disappears as it dries. Overall a great purchase and I love that it allows him to be creative!

This was a Christmas gift for my niece and she absolutely loves it! It's well sized, easy use for all ages and it's a lot of fun. Very happy about this purchase.

My nephew and niece love this writing mat. The package comes with 4 pens that hold water. 2 with blue caps, the other 2 with red caps. when they got the package, boy picked the blue-capped pens and girl picked the red-capped pens. :) now, they start playing and doodling on the mat instead of on the wall and paper. It is really an environmentally friendly way for kids to learn and play. Recommend it.

I bought that magic mat for my grandchildren. They are 3 and 4 years old. They like to paint on it, and we are happy that everything around is clean and they do not get dirty with paint. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Came wrinkled to the extend that there is a small hole developing on one of the cross shaped wrinkles. The markers do not work as expected, using them feels like a worn out marker, the water does not flow. Small kids may enjoy splashing water on it and enjoying the change of color but that’s about it. If you intent to replace a drawing board and teach your kid how to paint or write it won’t do. Waste of money for me.

So far this mat has been pretty good. The pens are easy to use, and my older daughter (5) likes the stamps. We originally had a different mat, but the water didn’t “erase “, so we returned it and got this one. It has erased well when it dries. I really like the size, too. Both of my daughters (and I) can easily color at the same time.

No more writing on walls or floors. The kids won't have thousands of pieces of paper all over the house. It's a must have for the little ones. Lots of fun with less mess.

The pens are to fill with water to use on the mat. This was given as a gift and one of the pens was not openable to fill with water, no matter how many people tried to open it. We were able to open and use the other pens.

My son loves his draw mat. However, the draw opens didnt work the greatest, so we use a paint brush with water.
