APCO Carbon HVAC UV Air Purifier, Includes 2-Year UVC Lamp (18-32 VAC Series) # TUV-APCO-ER2, Works with HVAC Systems

Purchased this unit in September 2015, the unit failed now. Manufacturer states I need to return the unit to the seller for them to file a warranty claim. What do I do with a hole in my ductwork? It’s clear the ballast failed. Why not just send a replacement?Very disappointed.

Ok. I have had this unit for 1.5 years and I had it installed with a new dual pack unit. I have found it to be effective to say the least. We are dog people so dogs rule the house. This unit cleans the air of dog smells. We also had window mold issues and they are gone since we put in this unit. The bad part is the 2 yr bulb only lasted 1.5 years and we just replaced it and it is working like it should. I know the reviews are mixed on this but it was worth it for us. It also removes smoke odor from the fireplace.

I smoke cigars in the back room of our house. Apparently the odor follows me through the house. After installation of the APCO-ER2, the very next day, everyone was thrilled that there was NO ODOR AT ALL. This baby works and works well.

Nothing to say as yet. New house, 50 years old, new vents, etc, wanted to make the air here as clean as possible...hoping for Space Shuttle clean ;>)
