Lace Kings Round Rope Shoelaces

I purchased these laces to replace my existing laces for one specific reason: the old ones wouldn't remain tied. Something about the roundness and the material meant that no matter how tight I laced the shoes, eventually they would come loose. The Lace King laces, I am happy to say, do not suffer from this defect. I tie my shoes once in the morning, and they remain tightly laced until such time as I choose to untie them. For shoelaces, in my opinion, there are no higher accolades. Additionally, they look clean and very bright. The length of the lace was exactly as advertised. They arrived promptly, and nicely packaged in a small plastic "test tube" with a metal screw-on cap. I'm certain the tube can be re-purposed to store something else in a useful manner. If you amortize the cost of the laces over their lifetime of use, they provide an excellent value.

These are good laces. They fit my Sketchers cross-trainer style shoe. How ever I use these shoes all the time as I do handyman work. The cloth style laces finally frayed and broke at the top eyelet. These shoes have loops on the instep and couple of eyelets at the top. They are just the right size, easy to lace up. They do have just a bit of "stretch" to them when you are tying your shoes (hence 4 stars and not 5). I thought they would not stretch at all. I got the 54 inch version, probably could have ordered the one size shorter. I double not them anyway, so it works out. Most of the time I am on my knees sliding around fixing things and they stay tied. So far so good. Would recommend. But might try the one size smaller then what your old ones where. Or buy the correct size and the one set just one size smaller and see which works best.

Here's the thing... These are shoelaces, and it's hard to have too much of an expectation about shoelaces, right? Well think again. The shoe laces are good looking, very durable, are the proper length, and are just about the best shoelaces I could have imagined.Each time I buy new shoes, if they use laces, I look to find laces that will make the shoes look better, and I usually buy shorter laces because (for some unknown reason) just about all shoes come with laces that are too long.So, this time, after searching, I found these laces and I love them.

Laces are very thick - think like laces for hiking boots, but they look right on dress shoes (or at least dress-casual). Color is a nice brown. Couple of issues - the thickness made it difficult to lace the shoes with smaller eyelets (not small, though). I was able to pull through. The second is that the tips (the plastic part that prevents fraying) has "Lace Kings" in white on it - it looks a little cheesy on dress shoes to have a logo for all to see, even if it is on your feet. While I might buy some more Lace Kings laces in the future, I don't feel the need to rock the brand at work.Plus points for the nice jar they come in.

Lace Kings makes excellent laces and the owner provides superlative service. These are truly a high-quality product in a far wider variety of colors than you are likely to find in any local shoe store. Buy these with pride from Amazon.com.However, due to a manufacturing miscommunication, I'd recommend you order the next size *larger* than the size you think you need. For example, I needed size 50" laces. The size 54" were perfect for my shoes and look much nicer, and are higher quality, than any other replacement laces I could have found.

The stock laces on my running shoes keeps untying, and I really don't want to get into the double knot thing.I've read good reviews about these laces and decided to give them a try.They arrived really fast. I love the color, as they will hopefully make me somewhat more visible to ignorant drivers.The 45-inch laces fit very well on my Asics running shoes. The quality of these is much better than the stock laces.Overall, I'm glad I purchased these laces over the popular laces that have the clips on them. Several reveiws of those types indicated the clip wears down the actual lace and eventually tears the lace.With that, I just wanted a really good pair of laces...That's all, no bells, no whistles. With these laces, that's exactly what I got!!!Completely satisfied, and Highly Recommended.

I HAVE ONLY HAD THESE FOR 1 DAY...BUT THEY LIVED UP TO THEIR ADVERTISING TODAY. 10,730 STEPS TODAY. I OBVIOUSLY CANNOT REVIEW ON LONGEVITY YET, BUT WILL COME BACK AND DO SO. I DID TIE THEM IN DOUBLE KNOTS, MORE BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN HABIT FOR YEARS. I ORDERED BLACK AND DARK GREY SO...WITH THOSE COLORS BEING SO CLOSE I COULD ONLY TELL UP CLOSE AS I WAS PUTTING THEM IN MY BOOTS. THE STRINGS THAT CAME WITH MY NEW BOOTS WERE WAY TOOOO LONG. THE LACE KINGS ARE A 100% IMPROVEMENT OVER WHAT WAS IN THE BOOTS WHEN DELIVERED. DELIVERY WAS WAY FASTER THAN DESCRIBED AS WELL. BY ABOUT 4 DAYS OVER THE ESTIMATED DELIVERY.

Though I felt they were a bit pricey, they were very similar in quality and design to the ones that came with my Steve Madden ZeroDarks. I was wanting something that was a bit darker than those I had as well as shorter so that it would lend itself to a custom lace configuration with no cutting of the excess lace. The Lace Kings arrived shorter than they were marked. 27" was ordered . Received a 26 & a 25. Took some stretching and adjustments to my plan but in the end all was well.
