Bellissima C Tenor Recorder

The thing sounds like you're blowing into a comically large piece of PVC pipe and isn't in tune with concert pitch.It takes a long time to ship, and as much as I tried to cancel this order after reading the bad reviews, the seller denied the cancellation and shipped the item shortly after.It is not wood, it just "looks like wood". It is made poorly to the extent that the finger holes still have twirls of thin plastic where the holes were drilled.With all of that said, I'm not going to return it.I don't think it's worth anywhere even near what they are charging because honestly it plays terribly and would not be appropriate for public performance. But with how huge the thing is, it's a very eye opening entry to what playing a tenor recorder would be like.As much as I hate to admit it, I'm glad I bought this poor attempt at an instrument before shelling out a lot more money for one that would sound good - only to learn the thing is HUGE and very hard to play with small hands. I've been fine on a soprano recorder, but I was not at all ready for how big this thing is.If you want to try your hand at tenor recorder and don't have much money, this works.The seller isn't great and the quality is poor, but at least you get an idea of the size of the instrument.If I were to buy this again, I'd be reluctant to pay more than $30 for it.I could probably make one of these with some PVC pipe from Home Depot, a drill, and some brown paint.Buyer beware.

The recorder connections are Extremely tight. I needed maximum force to assemble it and take it apart. An obvious defect with one of the connecting pieces added to the problem. I tried playing it with a recorder ensemble and it was sooooo out of tune with the other recorders and it was impossible to correct this problem! Customer service that Amazon provides was polite and had no issues with me returning the recorder, however the person did not tell me that it would cost me $23.50 in postage to return the recorder!! The entire experience was an Outrage in regards to a defective tenor recorder and the cost of returning it! The recorder looks good, exactly as pictured, however in this case, Looks are Deceiving!

Not a great buy. There is a part and I don't know where it goes. Sent with a very small capsule of wax.

Für Anfänger wegen des großen Abstands der Löcher eher ungeeignet. Ansonsten ein wunderschönes Instrument mit tollem Klang.

La terminación imitando madera está muy lograda y el sonido en todo el registro es extraodinariamente bueno. Muy recomendable en todos los aspectos. Ha superado con creces todas mis expectativas!

It's plastic material, no brand and I'm sending it back.

De très belle facture et très bien finie. Présentée en 3 parties dans sa sacoche étui aspect cuir, avec outils de nettoyage et mode d'emploi.Je recherchais une flûte ténor pour changer un peu de ma flûte soprano et je n'ai pas été déçue par sa sonorité profonde, douce et moelleuse.Cependant, je n'avais pas prêté attention à un détail d'importance, que la fiche indique pourtant clairement: "idéal pour les musiciens ambitieux, longueur: 65 cm".Et malheureusement pourvue de petites mains aux doigts courts, impossible pour moi d'atteindre la dernière ouverture et la clé au bas de la flûte.J'avais oublié que les flûtes ténor sont beaucoup plus longues que les flûtes soprano. Et c'est avec regret et frustration que j'ai dû retourner cette flûte.Si vous avez la chance d'avoir mains et doigts "standards", n'hésitez pas, c'est une flûte de grande qualité.

This is a lively little instrument, with a bright and crisp tone. It is well tuned and enjoyable to play.
