Crystal Clear Views
I absolutely love this telescope. It checked off all of the boxes for me: easy to assemble, lightweight, compact, and clear views through every lens. I live in the city so I anticipated having some difficulty using this in my backyard, but this was not the case! This telescope has exceptional quality for a very reasonable price. I am also a big fan of the smartphone adapter. I am generally not good at putting things together but this took me at most 15 minutes to do so. I cannot wait to see how this thing performs outside of the city, I'm sure it will be breathtaking! I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend to any other star gazers out there!

Great little budget telescope
First off, this is a very complete kit. The telescope comes in a cloth carrying case with an internal divider...telescope and accessories go on one side and the included tripod goes on the other. Very convenient. In addition to the telescope and tripod, the Zhumel also comes with a couple of eyepieces and an adaptor for attaching a smartphone. My use of this telescope has been limited to viewing the moon and for this it is great. I was able to see quite a bit of surface detail and the image was bright and clear. I experimented with the phone adaptor; it is a little fiddly getting the phone lens to line up correctly with the eyepiece but works well once it is in place.Complaints? Not too many, as this is an $80.00 telescope and for this price, as I said, it is pretty complete. The instructions could be more clear and maybe including illustrations would help. The tripod is a little jiggly. Just be careful not to bump it. And it's a little short but that is a tradeoff to make it so compact. The sighting scope is not much use for the moon...it works better for farther objects (though the resolution isn't quite up to making distant celestial objects visible.) I haven't tried it on terrestrial objects but it might be of some use in that situation.Overall, this is a fun little telescope and might be just the thing to spark an interest in astronomy.

Good Basic refractor (non-mirror) telescope
This is a good basic refractor telescope. I finally used it to see something rather than just seeing how difficult it would be to put together (it's easy)Pros:I saw good detail on the moon for a hazy night for the magnification, and decent detail on the tree branches when I was looking and trying to focuscomes with a relatively roomy carrying caseGood view-finder - I was able to find the moon with it and then fine tune the focus knob on the telescope itself to find the moonCons:The manual/user's guide lacks detail (very few drawings and if you don't know what the parts are supposed to look like, it's a lot of guess work or googling)tripod - while good, it's very short, especially when the telescope is tilted up near 90 degreesSmart phone adapter - while good in concept, the directions for use are inadequate, and it is too heavy for the weight of the telescope and tripod. It tends to knock it out of alignment with whatever you're trying to view.

Confusing
Why did you pick this product vs others?:We can't figure out how to view anything. We followed the directions perfectly but still can not see anything

Not worth your money but something else
Go buy something else. I wanted a beginner telescope and thought for the money this would be decent. No! It’s horrible and the instructions are terrible!

Wonderful telescope for kids
This telescope is amazing. I bought it for my 11 year old, NASA obsessed daughter. She loves it, and is able to identify stars and constellations. It was a little tricky for me to put together, as I didn't find the instructions to be very thorough, but once I figured it out, everything came together quickly. It was delivered quickly, and well packaged. Absolutely great for space obsessed kids - especially for the price!

not worth it
I was going to buy a more expensive telescope, but this was the only one that was shipping to my country. I didn't have high expectations, and unfortunately this is even worse than what I thought it would be. Hard to find anything, because every move to adjust it makes it wobble all around. This kind of made me think again whether I want to invest more into astronomy, which until now I did not do. So you can say it was a cheap way to find out it's not for me, or maybe if I would buy a better one then I would be still interested...

Blurry Zhumell
The equipement used is a little confusing. At first it looks like the material is similar to celestron sold for x3 the price used for this one. Same exact equipement. So I thought this is a good deal indeed. The product is exactly the same, however some review mentioned that the scope is blurry about 40% of the view. I found it is true and exact. I am not sure why I am not able to see any detail of the moon. Seeing the moon with bare eyes is much better than the scope. I installed it correctly. I am giving it an okay review because of the price, the internals are very weak I am sorry but I do not like to drop their ratings.
