The Navy blue knee-highs were more opaque than sheer. The band on top was too tight, although I appreciate it that they won't ride down. Otherwise, they serve the purpose. I haven't opened the taupe and white packages yet.

Im a black woman (medium light brown) Nd ordered this to wear when i wear dress pants to work. These are comfy and go well with dress pants.

LOVE MY SILKIES KNEE HIGHS!! I have been wearing Silkies for 20 years! Highest quality, SO comfortable, beautiful colors and after 20 years, I finally need SUPPORT KNEE HIGHS - and these Ultra Knee HIghs give me just the right amount of support for being on my feet all day at work - no more swollen ankles. These wash well and last a long time. They fit as expected and they are very pretty to wear with any kind of shoe. I purchased them in every available color in my size. I have very sensitive skin due to latex allergy, and Silkies are the only hose that I can wear without any irritation. These knee highs stay up for my entire 10 hour work shift. Wide, soft band at the top of the Knee High I am ordering some more for work right now.

Thought they would have more support but fine as just a knee high hose.

What I like about these is that they stay up. and they are very comfortable and long lasting. A truly good product and I would hesitate to recommend then for sure

I was disappointed. I've ordered silkies before and they fit fine but this last order they were so tight I couldn't even get them on. So I will order some other brand of knee highs.
