This keyboard is way better than I expected. The mixed reviews made me feel a little bit uneasy about ordering but I couldn’t go any higher than 60 bucks. So I got this and crossed my fingers. Many reviews said to just follow the instructions and it will work. So I did that. And it worked with ease. It took less than 5 minutes to set up. With heavy usage the battery lasts forever. I keep forgetting to charge this sucker and its been more than a week and its only down to 70%. I’m not exaggerating. I will have to add a screenshot to this. It is amazing. It lasts...forever. I use it a lot. I type all my messages and emails on it. 70%. And the backlit aspect is a great bonus too. Like I wouldn’t necessarily need the back lighting but I love it. There are a lot of colors. It is so pretty. Then the keys feel great. I love typing on this and it doesn’t feel awkward at all. I have had Bluetooth keyboards for tablets before and this one has been by far the easiest to use and get adjusted to. It is also not too clacky. It’s quite quiet but to add to that, they send a silicone keyboard protector that you can remove with ease for washing. The silicone keyboard cover makes it even more silent for nighttime typing or projects. I would 100% recommend if you can follow some simple step-by-step directions of how to get the keyboard to connect with your ipad. I haven’t had a single problem with it so far and I have had it for three or four weeks now.

I have an ipad 2017 (5th Generation) tablet and was looking for a keyboard for it. After reading reviews of both customers and tech sites I decided upon the IE Grow keyboard. This keyboard is really nice and sturdy. The keys are big enough for adult fingers, nicely spaced apart and easy reach. The lettering on the keys is easy to read even without the back light on. I like that you can choose whether or not to have the back light on and can also choose the color of light that you would like. My tablet fits nicely into the case and is secure in the case. There is no movement when snapped into the case. It was easy to connect to the tablet and the directions were easy to follow. The case came with a nice softer rubber/plastic key protector that you can use either while typing or just to add extra protection to your tablet when the case is closed. I like that I can fold the cover/keyboard out flat or completely the other way to use it as a stand for the tablet. It is hinged nicely. The battery time on the keyboard has been great so far and to be honest since December I haven't even had to charge it yet, but then again I haven't used it for hours and hours so I guess that will depend upon how much you have it on. The outside of the case is a flatter black color and is a non slip type of material so it doesn't slide all over the area where you are working. The on/off switch to me is the only part that I don't like as much because it is a tiny switch on the side of the keyboard case. It is hard to operate without using the very tip of your finger or fingernail. I gave it a 4 star just because of the on/off switch otherwise it would have earned a 5. Very happy that I purchased this keyboard to date.

After 8 months keyboard is malfunctioning. Automatically typing random characters and there is no way too stop it other than turning the keyboard off.This is getting worse everytime I try to use it.I am just really disappointed and frustrated.Below was my orginal review...........This case is very durable and exceeded my expectations. The fit is great and dexterity of the case incredible. The color is very pretty (rose gold). The only thing that is missing a mousepad!!!!

I am writing this review even though I have only had it for about a day now, but I would still like to voice my opinions about a few things.One thing is that when I have the ipad in the case it does not feel like it is in all the way. Where the clamps are to keep the ipad in place feel sturdy but the top and bottom do not have them and they have some play to them. I thought it was the stickers on the back of my ipad so I removed them but it did not solve the issue. I am not sure how this will hold up but as for now it feels fine, just annoying.Another thing that I noticed is that while I am not a particularly fast typer, the keyboard misses some letters that I know for a fact I pressed. I don't think that i type any faster than 60 words a minute yet it still misses a letter about every 4 words. This is frustrating because I bought this keyboard to use in class where I have to keep up with a professor for at least an hour straight. The backspacing to go back and fix the missing letters will definitely add up.I am giving this a 3 star for now because as much as I like the case it has some flaws that make it difficult to do the one thing I need it to do which is type.There are some good things about it though. This is the only case I can find that has the clamshell design as well as the keyboard actually built into the case that seems even moderately well built. It has a nice weight to it and typing on it feel very comfortable and nice even in the lap where I expected it to be the most uncomfortable. It allows me to set it up in tent mode so I can connect my bluetooth mechanical keyboard to so that I can type using that when I am at my desk at home. I can also fold it all the way around so i can lay it flat and use the apple pencil.While I had a lot of things to complain about overall it is a very good product, probably the best keyboard case for the basic 2018 Ipad. I was very hesitant about buying this model considering it is one of the more expensive keyboard cases that is not sold by apple. I will continue to use it and live with its rather annoying quirks. As it is miles ahead of its competition, at least here on amazon.

The right shift key is smaller than the left and when you instinctively go to hit the right shift key, instead you get a page up button. So then I don't only not get a capital when I type, but the cursor is now in a different place on the screen. Tried to make it work and reteach myself to use the far right small shift key. After making enough mistakes and getting frustrated, I decided not worth it, as other keyboards out there have a properly configured keyboard.Returning item.If this is no big deal for you, then I can tell you that the case is sturdy enough. The protective keyboard cover just sticks on top and can be removed, and it was more frustrating to type with it on. After charging the battery lasted the 2 weeks I was using it.

While I gave mostly 5 stars...my overall is a 4 because some of the letters “skip” if not pressed a bit “extra”. They are not “touch sensitive”, so I find myself having to go back and type the letter again.Other than that...sturdy little case.

This is a great keyboard iPad case for my new iPad. The 360-degree flip is very convenience for multiple functions. And it is very easy to turn back. The case covers both sides that make sure all protected. So far, the battery life is pretty good and the keyboard is very easy to clean. The Bluetooth has no problems for connection.

This item was a present for a relative. She is thrilled with this iPad case, the colour matched her recently purchased IPad perfectly, the hinged lid so it works like a lap-top and the keyboard is a pleasure to use.

I had a coopers case before.... it stopped working so I was looking for a new cover with keypad. I love white and was very happy to find this one. easy to install and to get the blue tooth turned on.
