When I started looking for a watch roll for my small collection, the first thing that struck me was how NARROW most are. 2” slots would NEVER work for me. Even my smallest one would be a tight fit. And even higher priced models would not fit. The THREE-inch wide slots in this one easily fit all four of the watches I wanted to store (see photo). I might buy another if there was a FOUR-inch version, since my huge Diesels (Mr. Daddy 2.0, Mega Chief) still won’t fit in this (or any other) roll. I included them in the photo to see how oversized they are for this in case. I also like the quality of the leather. It’s supple enough to wrap around the watches in the slots and when rolled up. Though I love waxed canvas for many things, I preferred going with leather for the softer texture on the watch faces. I am very pleased with that in this roll. The price was also very reasonable to me. Hide & Drink is now on my shortlist for any future rolls and cases.

You get exactly what's advertised, a quality leather roll with stitched housing for 4 watches. I've only one major issue with this product, and that's the space for each watch causing the faces to touch when rolled. You can fold the top of the roll down over them but as the leather is a solid piece it is not the softest and will cause substantial bulking when rolled so it's a bit of a trade off. If a softer leather was used it would be easier to fold over the watch faces however you would lose some of the structural strength. Over all not bad, it will definitely do the job it's intended for.

I love this brand with a passion, so I will get the only negative comment out of the way right off the bat. 'Hide & Drink' really builds up the brand, touting their 101 year warranty, as well as picturing cool little cards that show who crafted your item with a batch number. I received neither with my item, nor with other items I've purchased from the seller. I was really looking forward to getting that nomenclature, as it builds on the quality, authenticity and mystique of the brand. It sounds like a little thing, but was one of the determining factors that convinced me to buy their items in the first place. That being said.. on to the good stuff. I love this roll and plan on using it extensively. I usually travel with three to four watches and this will work superbly. Definitely do not travel with your watch faces exposed like their pictures show. Make sure to tuck them into the super soft pockets. While the roll will nicely accommodate four watches, I believe I will only be loading it up with three timepieces if I'm running short on space in my luggage. This is old school quality and craftsmanship that used to be abundantly found in the 70s and 80s when I was growing up. Then.. suddenly, availability of quality leather goods disappeared seemingly overnight. Hide & Drink will get more of my business for sure. I just hope they eventually include those cool looking documents with future items I buy.

This was bought as a gift for my husband who was looking for a means of packaging watches for traveling. He was looking for something that would obviously protect the watches but also not take up much room or weight in his luggage. Looks were not really a concern for him, that’s my department. This ticked all of his boxes and he was thrilled to find that the leather felt really good and that he really loves the look of the travel case. Since it doesn’t have a solid frame but folds/rolls up it doesn’t take up much room but the leather is thick and seems durable and there is no worry about the watches not being protected.

I love my Watch Roll, the feel of the leather really good and the craftsmanship is top notch. I use it to store some of my fancier watches (mid-small size, 37mm aprox) and it's wonderful. I think it's gonna be a great travel companion.

It’s exactly as advertised. The leather and stitching are great and will definitely buy other product from them. Then why not 5 stars? It’s a design flaw in my opinion. While there are 4 pockets I noticed holding 4 watches makes rolling it uneven and too bulky. I think the pockets should be offset 2 on top and two on the bottom and alternating: top/bottom top/bottom, this would allow you to fill all pockets and roll it up without one side being too uneven. I was not mislead and against the craftsmanship and quality are great, but I think this one change would make a HUGE difference for its purpose.

What I was looking for and seems made to last. If this was 2x the price I would still be worth it.
