Excellent strings
Good tone, good tension, long lasting. They don't stretch too much. All nylon strings have to be tuned a few times when new as they stretch but these were holding pitch well after the first day.

Replacement Spares for "D" String on Classical Guitar
I buy a lot of spare "D" and a few extra "A" strings to use as replacements when they break while on my guitars. I won't change out an entire set of strings if one breaks, and I hate breaking into a new pack of strings just to pull only one out. It violates the entire pack! So, I buy a lot of extra D's mostly since it's usually the D string which breaks. I'm terribly frugal when it comes to strings and will even re-tie the old on back on when it breaks if it's still long enough. These aren't exceptional strings but will usually last until you're ready to put on a fresh set. They sound kind of tinny, but even expensive D strings still sound kind of tinny. D's especially, have a tendency to break much sooner than other strings so you really can't have too many around as spares. I teach classical guitar and have replaced more strings than you can imagine and have tried many different types. I keep going back to this brand for spares because they're inexpensive, and are of high enough quality that they will usually last until my other strings need to be replaced. Then I put on a fresh set. I even carry a couple of spare D's in my guitar case. Nothing worse than opening your case to find your D string has snapped yet again and this time it's too short to put back on and you don't have any spares. Don't let this happen to you!!!

Instead of one I received eight!!! For the price of one
I ordered one string d, 4th. But I received pack of 8(eight)!!! In description I didn't see anything about pack of eight, couldn't say nothing against it)))

Strings Freshness
The anti-corrosion system advertised wasn't very good, the strings were rusty as soon as they were taken out of the packaging... I love D'Addario but quality has been decreasing lately

Rosty products
Before opening the bag that contains it, check if it is rusty. I bought 2 strings and both were rusty in patches, something that greatly reduces the life of the strings.

For Playing At Home, These Are My Go To Strings
There are 3 major brands selling most of the classical guitar strings: Augustine, D'Addario, Saverez. D-Addario are in the middle, but can brighten up even cheaper guitars. The companies are more comparable when buying their different quality levels, like Augustine Red or D'Addario ProArte Dynacore. There are many more companies, so an online review might mention LaBella, good for folk to flamenco, and Hannabach, high end classical. For everyday playing, though, D'Addario J4505 are my go to. PROS: Normal tension, warm, balanced and last a reasonable time. CONS: Brightness fades after only moderate use. Balanced is not the same as loud and bright, like Savarez 540Rs. SUMMARY: It's probably the best selling string for a reason, price and sound. For performance, I'd choose Saverez or Hannabach.
