Great purchase
These cards are brilliant, they make learning letters so much fun with my 5 year old and he loves the fact each letter is associated with a character.when I was 5 years old I had the letter land book and I still remember the characters so I'm really happy to have this for my son!

These are brilliant, my 4 year old has taken right to them, far better than any other phonics teaching in my opinion. Giving the letters a character and placing them in contextual stories is great for learning and you can find plenty of Support rescources on you tube, apps, etc

These can't be beat, but they're not currently in curriculum!
Bought for my wife who teaches infants with special needs 1-2-1. She swears by them and all the parents are delighted with their progress. Other teachers borrow them too! My two boys (now aged 23 and 19) learned with them and they are becoming teachers too. Should really be used in conjunction with the book and/or flash cards.If you're interested I'd check out the whole range and pick out what suits you best.

I like that the letters are printed plain on one side ...
I like that the letters are printed plain on one side with the letterland characters on the reverse. Great for recognition practice. They will be very useful in the future as we start building words.

A valuable resource for parents with young children.
I learnt with letterland in school 32 years ago, so I know they work :) Our childminder started practicing these with my son 6 months ago and now at only 23 months he can identify all of the letter characters. He corrects me if I say the phonic sound incorrectly too. Combined with the songs, these make a very valuable resource for any parent with young children.

These flash cards complement the letterland picture book really well, my daughter has learning difficulties and was really struggling with jolly phonics and oxford reading tree and the support for learning teacher recommended letterland. We saw a huge improvement very quickly and this way of teaching seemed to click with her. Very good for visual learners.

A little out of fashion but this approach really does work for some children....a simple uncomplicated strategy that has stood the test of time
