Prior to purchasing this Case Elegance humidor, I was using a humidor with a built-in analog hygrometer. Unfortunately, the hygrometer was simply not accurate. It would show 70%, yet my cigars were bone-dry and cracking, definitely not 70%. So, I started searching for a humidor with a built-in digital hygro that was visible from outside the case. I found this Case Elegance "carbon fiber" humidor and immediately fell in love with the appearance. Of course for $67 or whatever, you're not getting real carbon fiber, but so what? It looks great, very contemporary and sleek. The humidor is also well-constructed, features a nice cedar interior and the lid closes with a magnetic seal, which is definitely confidence-inspiring. Considering the extremely affordable price, it's a great value.The seasoning process was a bit of a challenge. It's a pretty small box, so I figured one Boveda 84 pack would be enough, but it wasn't. After a week, the humidity was stuck at 50%, so I added another Boveda pack, then another, then another. Finally, with four Boveda packs, plus the included humidification device, I was able to get the humidity to 65%. This didn't seem possible and I began to suspect the built-in hygro was reading too low, so I placed a portable digital hygro inside the box and let it sit overnight. Sure enough, the following day, the built-in hygro was still reading 65, but the hygro inside the box was reading 75. At that point, I added my cigars and removed a couple of the Boveda packs. Since then, the real humidity has been pretty stable at 70 - 75%, though the built-in hygro still shows 65%.So, the good news is, the box is well-constructed, looks great, functions great and definitely retains humidity. The bad news is, the built-in hygro is not well-calibrated. I suppose it's better that it underestimates the humidity, rather than overestimating, but still, it's a bit disappointing. Here's where the story gets better though...I contacted Case Elegance and explained my problem with the hygro. I mentioned the built-in hygro was reading 8% lower than my portable hygro and while I couldn't say for sure which was correct, my cigars were very moist, so I assumed the portable hygro was correct. If the humidity was really only 65%, my cigars would not be as moist as they were. They replied almost immediately and they were extremely helpful. They offered to send me an adjustable digital hygro at no charge, along with instructions for calibrating it. Of course, I accepted the offer and it arrived a few days later. After calibrating the adjustable hygro, I was able to confirm the built-in hygro was reading too low. So while, I'd prefer to have the built-in hygro be totally accurate, I know I can just add about 8% to get the true humidity and I leave the adjustable hygro inside the box, so I can verify the true humidity whenever I open the box to grab a cigar..Case Elegance followed up with me several times after sending the adjustable hygro and they've continued to be extremely helpful. I suggested they create a humidor featuring a built-in adjustable hygro and they seemed responsive to the idea, so we'll see what they do in the future. Considering everything was great with the humidor, except for the accuracy of the hygro and considering their amazing support, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again!

Seals well and seasons steadily, I couldn't ask for a smoother process! I'm usually not one to give a full five stars on product, but this earned all five!Initially, I was concerned that the digital hygrometer/thermometer would allow humidity to escape. I was thoroughly surprised to find that has a very snug seal. If the fit becomes looser over time, it’s in a very easy spot to place masking tape without affecting its looks. The hygrometer didn't need to be calibrated (Boveda pack calibration/test). It has the option to switch between Celsius/Fahrenheit. A small gem I noticed as I was moving cigars in was that it even has a little kickstand installed, if one were to borrow it from the box while it isn't in use. An awesome perk!A huge characteristic about Case Elegance's humidors that I find extremely useful is the magnetic seal/lid! The embedded magnets aren't visible but make a huge difference in sealing and making sure it stays closed. (Without making it hard to open, of course). I compare this trait to humidors without magnets but cost just as much or more.The looks are the next best thing about the humidor, behind the snug hygrometer/thermometer perk and the good seal! The carbon fiber design looks super sleek in my living room (mainly black/silver furniture) and in my office (wood furniture)! On the under-side, there's a nice felt lining that keeps your surfaces without scratches. This layer doesn't make the humidor easy to slide, thankfully.The cedar inside has an amazing smell and smooth grain. Personally, this is one of my favorite parts of humidors! It has seasoned well (distilled water) and hasn't shown any defects, cracking, bowing, etc.If you're on the fence about it, I would say get it! Case Elegance's customer service is amazing. Combined with the quality of this humidor, this purchase was worth twice its worth.

For the price point, this humidor is well made. The box seals well and the digital display of the hygrometer is clear and easy to read. I love the carbon fiber design, as I wanted something a little more modern and different. The humidor came well packaged and included two bottles of humidity solution. The seasoning instructions couldn’t be easier to follow.I only gave four stars, but would give 4.5 if I could. After two days of taking the humidor out the box and setting it up, the hygrometer stopped working. I reached out to Case Elegance and they responded within a few hours. The representative offered to send me a new hygrometer unit, but I decided to try putting a new battery. Turns out that’s all it was. So, despite having to buy a new battery after only a couple days, I haven’t had any issues. Humidity seems to be holding well.

This Case Elegance humidor is not only very pleasing to the eye, it comes with all you need to season it properly and to make sure that it will keep the internal humidity in a range of 68 to 72 percent. Included with the humidor, a Hydro System comes equipped with a digital hygrometer, a hydro tray, a wood cover, two bottles of Humidor Solution (one for summer months and one for dry/winter months), plus a Gel Solution packet to absorb the solution. The seasoning guide is very clear and it comes with diagrams that are easy to follow. Also included, one of my favorite items, the Hydro Stick, which can be used as a divider and it helps maintain the humidity (you can splash it with solution or distilled water for a quick humidity boost too!).A great companion for this humidor in case you need more room to accommodate your cigars is the Glass Top Humidor with thick cedar model that lets you see your cigars without opening the lid.Finally, should you ever require assistance with your humidor, the Case Elegance Customer Support team is outstanding and they will make certain that you are 100% satisfied with your humidor.

Well built product, good looking, right materials inside and outside. Uncharacteristically well written instructions -- clear, to the point and readable. It is important that all setting up stages are described and time estimates for each are given, including what to do if desired humidity does not obtain the first time around. All the materials are provided with the kit, so no need to shop around for missing parts.It took about 3 days for the humidor to reach 71%. This level of humidity holds steady, no additional maintenance so far. This humidor is so good that it revived a forgotten pack of over-dry Cubans to the enjoyable state.

Soy muy nuevo en el mundo de los puros y este humidor fue recomendado por un amigo. La entrega fue de acuerdo a lo planeado y traía todo lo que se mencionan en el producto. La calidad del humidor es muy buena y hasta ahora, estoy en el proceso de mantenerlo en la humedad recomendada. Ich habe den Humidor im Januar 2022 gekauft und bin mit Funktion und Design sehr zufrieden.Leider gab es vor einigen Wochen ein Problem mit der Anzeige des Hygrometers.Ich habe den Hersteller kontaktiert und das Problem beschrieben. Sofort wurde mir ein neues Hygrometer kostenlos zugeschickt. Jetzt funktioniert alles wieder so wie es soll.Produkt und Hersteller sehr zu empfehlen.👍

The item itself has been everything I expected and I’m more then pleased with it.Where the company have surpassed themselves is in the level of Customer Service.I encountered a small problem, with the digital hygrometer, and even though it’s a long time since the guarantee was up the response I received was top class. Customer Service like this is why I will stick with this company.

Llevo 1 mes con él y la verdad que va muy bien. Se ve que es de buena calidad, además El servicio de atención al cliente es muy bueno, les contacte porque al meter mis puros se bajo bastante de humedad y me respondieron muy rápido ayudándome y luego me han contactado en 2 ocasiones mas, preocupándose de como iba y demás. Lo recomiendo al 100%!!Ademas de la caja, viene con 2 botes de liquido, uno normal y otro para invierno y clima seco y un paquete de cristales!!
