Im having a lot of trouble with the focus on the scanner. Can't seem to find a fix, how do I fix this?

You haven't mentioned what kind of trouble, and what software you're using. I use VueScan, and with it I can pick a different focus point in the image, and that may help with focusing. Film can curve, and to focus, the scanner's focus mechanism needs to find some fine contrast in the image, and the combination of those two factors can make it require some experimentation with some images to figure out where to put the focus point to get optimal focus.

Primefilm xas - does this do batch strips. 1st q&a is confusing on that point. also, does this come with silverfish? if so, what version?

Do i have to upgrade from siverfast se to silverfast ai ($300) in order to batch scan a strip of film or use the multiexposure features?
