Love it! Fun and will get you moving.
I've only had it a few days and I've been using it constantly. It's definitely challenging and awesome on your legs. As an avid kite/snow/longboarder, I needed something like this to give me something to do at home.I spend every second on it if I'm watching a show or playing a video game. My balance has already improved a bit and I can feel it working my leg muscles! I've started attempting some spins and squats as well. Definitely adds to the workout.Water sport enthusiasts, this is great for you because the stops on the bottom can be swapped to the long edges, which allows you to work on wave-type balance scenarios. With the stoppers off completely it's even MORE challenging, and you can twist and turn to your heart's content.Only "complaint" (which is negligible) is that the blue part of the board is a different material that gets a bit slippery if you're on it barefoot. But it's only after you've been on it long enough for your feet to sweat, and even then - just wear socks! It's very comfortable to stand on, very sturdy wood with soft and durable foam on top, and the roller hasn't damaged my hardwood floor even with all of my falling!Anyway, I highly recommend this to beginners or advanced balance boarders, as it can be changed to work for you. Also great for snowboarders who struggle with rail balance, and surfers (and basically any board sport). And it's pretty!

Looks like fun!
The balance board came in shrinkwrap plastic in great condition, sturdy thick plywood with a thin soft foam surface on top. The box it came in needed more tape but the product was well protected with multiple layers of brown packaging paper. Opted for the Swell model for the larger surface area and potential surfer mode. We read the simple instructions and immediately switched the black tabs with a screw driver into the alternate non-surfer mode. Wow, it's more difficult then we thought^^! For a newbie who has never used a balance board before, it looks to be a fun acitivity to learn but the board was definitely pounding the hard wood floors with great frequency due to my lack of skill. The instructions recommended the use of the board on carpet or a floor mat, so that's the next purchase on the list.

New toy! Fun and effective balance training
I think this is the first review I have ever written on Amazon. That is how much I love this new toy of mine.I purchased this board to help train for a 21 mile SUP race in order to get more time on the board. I considered the Goofboard and Indo board as part of my research and ultimately decided on this one. A couple of reasons for this:1. Is bi-directional. This was the biggest deciding factors. You can use it both 'ways' with the bumper placement on either side. Really helpful for getting started. The ability to turn it closely mimics foot placement on a paddle board.2. Decking material very similar to paddle board top- can easily jump on and off with bare feet. Will help with my foot 'grip strength' if that makes sense.3. Company solvency. Revolution seems to be developing and releasing new products while the Goofboard is discontinuing models. I wanted to purchase a product from a company that is doing new R&D for their products so that they would be there for support.4. Customer service. I chatted with someone on their team while doing my research. The online chat feature (on their website) was helpful in making sure I bought the right product for my practice.I have had this board for about a week now and have consistently used it for 30-45 mins on my 'rest' workout days. It is super fun and I set it up in the living room with a blanket underneath for more traction since I have tile floors. My boyfriend loves it too and we have to take turns while we are hanging out watching tv and cooking dinner. It took about one session to feel fairly solid. I still use the counter as a crutch in case I go too far. Could easily use a broom handle or the back of a chair for getting started. Just make sure that you have a carpet or something with a deeper pile which will help you starting off. I used a sheepskin throw over a yoga mat and intend to remove the sheepskin for a faster 'ride' once I feel pretty solid with my technique.Net-net, if you are looking for a fun way to build stability and strength, I think this product is fantastic. Easy to get started. I would recommend this for any athlete trying to cross train. My boyfriend is a cyclist and I run/paddle and am an aspiring yogi. I can't wait to see how this impacts all my workouts.I am even thinking of getting one for my 65+ yo mom for Mother's Day!Enjoy!

Best in class
Everything about the Revolution Swell is a marked improvement over balance boards I have used in the past. Roller height and board length seem to be dialed in perfectly. The diameter of the pin makes for a responsive ride and allows the Swell to be implemented as a great pop up trainer. The "Pro" model of a competitor's board I have used in the past has a much larger roller, which made for a sloppy slow ride. The thin padding (soft trak) atop the board is grippy enough for barefoot use but in no way obtrusive. Other products had a textured top coat or were left bare which I found to be less then ideal, especially when practicing the pop up. When new users are introduced to the Revolution the removable stoppers are a valuable addition, the board is less likely to go flying across the room due to an overcorrection from the rider. Removal of the stoppers allows me to rotate the board 90˚ under foot, as to go from the board being parallel with the roller to perpendicular. Instead of a carpet i find the use of a think yoga mat to be preferable. The dense mat keeps the wood floor protected but gives me the speed and responsiveness I am looking for. All in all I am very satisfied with the purchase and will most likely be purchasing the Core32.
