Whiskey with a beautiful taste
I was unsure what this would be like until I had my first glass. I always like strong cask strength whiskey and this was fine.

Very nice
I got this when it was on offer and it was a great deal (~£37). I would like to buy it again but there are many other whiskies I would like to try around the £60 price range, if I spotted it for £45 or under I would probably be tempted. But that would still approximately buy me an ardbeg, laphroaig, port charlotte 10, laguvlin 16 or so many other good whiskies. So even at a lower price it does not stand out much above the others apart from being cask strength. With some whiskies I find they work good on the rocks, others with water. This one I found was better with water as it brought the flavour out (though I am mostly used to stronger islay flavours). The glenlivet 12 original version was one of the malts that got me into the journey of whisky drinking. After their original offerings disappeared and founders reserve seemed to replace the 12 year I didn't enjoy that so much, and so I tried many others and found many other favorite drams. I am not very good at putting tasting notes into words, but this tasted quite sweet and almost marshmallow like with a bit of either woody or earthy notes so gave it some complexity and has nice kick from the high ABV%. Non chill filtered and a very honest pale colour which is how I like my whisky. Its definitely worth trying once, and I would like to try some of the other nadurra expressions. The bottle has some type of fault as it seems to either leak or evaporate away rather quickly! I don't think its me drinking it, honest.

Absolutely superb. Adore this stuff.
I've only got into Whisky in the last couple of years, but i'm now well into it now and have an obsession with trying new variations. Glenlivet Founders Reserve wss one of the first i really liked. Yes, 've seen reviews online scathing it, but I couldn't care less, whisky is subjective much like anything that comes to taste. No one should tell you what's good, what's not. I loved the taste, the sweetness, the flavour. It was that that made me various types of Glenlivet - this being one of them. The Nadurra is in a different league to any other Whisky I've yet come across it is staggering. It's not weak, and not one I'd advise drinking a lot of, but my word its worth the money. A very special drink. I've got most of the Bunnahabain's and I love them, but for me is the one to buy. Be warned though, go easy with it, this is strong stuff. Don't drink it like the 40% stuff or you will have one heck of a hangover.

Really nice.
I enjoyed this a lot, still had the house Glenlivet flavours but more fresh. Also be careful, its strong.

Good but inconsistent
Very good for the price but I think this is inconsistent across different batches. The first couple of bottles I had were classic speyside and reminiscent of scooping direct from the barrel. The most recent one is quite scented, obviously coming from the wood of the barrels. Not quite as nice in my opinion but I should not complain at the price as it is still a good quality cask strength speyside.

Did I mention its dry ?
OK here goes first whiskey review, I've got about 40 bottles and have been gradually learning, here's what I found with this, nose - Apples or crisp Apple peel, citrus but not nice citrus more lemon n lime. Taste - phew lemon sour with that fizz in lemon, (I drank a lot of fresh lemon in water to lose weight last year- didn't work, well it did it wrecked my teeth) .Finish - dry, bone dry like been walking through a desert dry, like tongue wondering why it can't have a drink, real spice back of throat but with that sour citrus.I added 2 teaspoons of cold smart water and left for a good 30 minutes before tasting. I don't drink whiskey , I taste it, basically I'll have 2 only.Look this review may be complete horlicks to those of you who know about these things, this is just my honest opinion.Don't shoot this messenger I've not drank enough to not feel it.If you want proper reviews I watch Ralfy.com on you tube, I don't know the man but he's a fountain of knowledge and interesting, Jesus I need a drink after that, did I mention its dry it really is bone dry, think I'll go and have a Aberlour 16, now that's nice, well better than this, actually Glenlivet 12yr old, the old label is much much nicer than this and you can get it at Old & Rare online for about £60. Personally I'd go for that, this isn't that nice really unless you want a dry lemon and if you do, you probably need to see a mental health practitioner.See like I said just my opinion I'm no expert, well not in whiskey.

Moreish
If you like smooth whisky without a rough after taste then nadurra is a great choice. Not smoky/peaty but very agreeable!
