Celebrating a Christ-centered Christmas: Children's Edition

A friend suggested this book to me as I was telling her how important it was for me to have my children learn just as much about christ as we teach them about Santa.I can not say enough good things. This book came in a hard case so there was no damage or bent corners.It also has different activities that you could do daily, biweekly or weekly leading to Christmas. I also love that we went all out for some activities or cams up with some other ideas for our own activities.It does explain the story of Jesus very well and I also would suggest setting out a nativity with the book.

This is the perfect addition to Emily Freeman's first book. Even though we enjoyed reading the first one as a family, I would often minimize it to just one page or summarize what I read. It was perfect for adults and our own personal study but the younger kids would lose a little interest. This children's version could not have made us happier!! Not only is everything simplified, but the artwork is amazing and draws you in. I love that each character you learn about is added to the picture at the bottom of the page and everyone is gradually running toward the stable as the book goes on. This is definitely something our children are going to love using every year!

My granddaughter loves this book. I read it to her the first time, and she really enjoyed the illustrations as well as the story. She is almost 3, and loves books, so this was perfect for her. The words are simple enough to understand, and the book is just the right length for the younger kids. Also one that can be read before bedtime, as it is not too long.

I love Santa and all the holiday excitement, but I also want my children to remember the reason we celebrate Christmas in the first place. There have been parts of this book that I still think about 2 months after reading it with my children. Perfect for enhancing your Christmas season.

Every year, I select a biblical Christmas book to go along with our family traditions. This book is organized perfect for it, it is accurate, and it even has activity suggestions! Love it and am excited to use it this year!

A great book to give as a gift. A great way to keep the focus of Christmas on Christ

This book helped change our family’s focus this past Christmas. The challenges that are given in the book are simple, but make you feel the true spirit of Christmas. As we read the book together we used pulled out nativity pieces with each section and then placed them on a completed nativity scene. This made it fun as we read each section.

Can't wait to give this book as a gift! Will be giving the1st of December Very cute, great thought went into the Book! Love the suggestions for ideas to have a Christ Centered Christmas!
