Great looking book, collector's look and feel!
I didn't realised how good these books look. The cover seems like it was done by hand, embroidered in material. I got a few on sale for my little ones, will be keeping an eye on the rest to complete the collection. As the covers are made from material, I would keep them strictly for bed time stories and away from sticky fingers 😁.These books really look like a collector's item.

Disney classic made more enticing !
This was a Christmas gift for our grown up son who has been obsessed with Disney since a small boy . This book is a beautiful version of a wonderful classic . Illustrated with colourful, enticing pictures which transport you into the story . A magical book .

Lovely
I bought this as a gift for a friends daughter. Gratefully received, although my friend was worried it was too nice for her 2 year old. But a lovely book that will last for a lifetime

Lovely book for a collector!
I’ve been purchasing these hooks for my daughter to give to her when she’s older. They arrive in good time and are such lovely quality! The pictures are amazing and I love the bits of information on the artists that worked on the original films. Such great value!

Dumbo my most favourite Disney character.
Arrived a day before release, I read this book as soon as i opened it, pure brilliance follows the original film to a T. Beautiful illustration, beautiful writing, beautiful cover. This is the fourth book in the series, is slowly making a fantastic collection.

Lovely quality, great writing
These Disney animated classics books are terrific quality. I love the inclusion of concept art and screen shots as illustrations. This version of Dumbo follows the movie very well, using dialogue straight from the script, beautifully arranged with the illustrations. There's a foreword from a current animator giving credit to the legendary Bill Peet for his artwork for Dumbo--in the golden age of Disney, Bill Peet's name is attached to pretty much all my favourite movies and shorts. My one disappointment with this book was the omission of any reference, either in text or illustration, to the "Pink Elephants on Parade" sequence, and the "When I See An Elephant Fly" sequence. I know there has been controversy over both sequences. Perhaps include just a line or two about some helpful crows who give the magic feather (no stereotypes needed). Or show that Timothy and Dumbo have strange dreams about flying and then wake up in a tree, without reference to alcohol consumption. This is a minor gripe, and would probably only stand out to someone who's seen the Dumbo movie a lot. I hope Studio Press publishes all the Disney classics in this beautiful book form.
