COLOR WOW Root Cover Up – Temporary Hair Color Touch-Up

Looks very natural, easy to apply. Except the platinum doesn't do anything for my hair, I think blonde next time will be better.

It had a high star review. it came in today. It looks exactly like eyeshadow. I have dark brown roots. My hair is blonde. It does not work at all! It looks like everywhere you put it on your roots and it falls down onto your face like you have a bronzer all over the top of your forehead. The brush that you have to use that comes with the product. You literally have to put half of it on there just to do a couple millimeters of your hair and it falls out like eyeshadow/ bronzer I will be contacting color wow . This is a expensive product that doesn’t work. very disappointed customer for 35 bucks but I have to return.

The emoji photo shows the application on the left side of my head only. The photo of the top of my head shows powder along my part. The back is untouched so you can see the how dark my roots are. Gives me confidence between touchups. It's clear I have root growth, but it's nice having a lighter color instead of a stark color difference. It leaves shimmery gold dust on my scalp if I'm loose with the application, but I'm honestly fine with it. Will buy again.

I bought two colors: platinum and brown . I like the product but you need so much of it to cover grey. It’s beyond my budget.

This is a powder, highly pigmented, to be used on the root of grey or darker hair since I purchased platinum blonde. I'm trying to cover up my dishwater blonde roots in between highlights. It does work, however, you must try to get a lot of product on your hair by reapplying over and over with the brush. It takes a fair amount of time to do this all around the head successfully. It does seem to be waterproof until you shampoo it out. I was hoping it would go on much faster and easier for paying around $34.XX. Overall, I'm disappointed with the product.

I purchased 3 ~ the platinum, blonde, and dark blonde. The dark blonde was completely broken inside and because it is a soft powder was everywhere inside the box. The other two arrived without issue. In my opinion, especially considering the expense for such a small amount of product and its consistency, it should be packaged in a pot style container. That way if it does break apart, at least it can be contained and saved. Packaged like an eyeshadow compact meant the broken pieces became dust. As for the other 2 colors I was able to use, I truly like this product. I ended up using one of my own eyeshadow brushes because the ones given were a tad too soft. But I understand that's to better control application amount. It did a great job giving coverage to the gray without being too obvious. I would have liked to have used the dark blonde around hairline, to see how the darker color worked. All in all I would say that beyond packaging, it is a great product. It is expensive for the amount of product, but you have control over the amount applied, and where it's applied. The compact has a mirror, but I can't imagine ever using it. I gave it a 3 star for the value because of such a small amount along with the potential breakage and complete loss of product.

For the high price I paid, I felt like I did not get a lot of product and it didn’t do a very good job. I have medium brown roots and light blonde highlights. After following the directions carefully, I applied the product three times in the same area. I could tell a difference, but only slightly. It softens my dark roots, but it does not erase them or blend to blonde. I would not buy this again.

It does NOT work! It is basically like baby powder or eye shadow that comes off and will not stay. I was so excited. Now I am just sad! Too good to be true for anyone with brown hair and blonde highlights. If you are grey or blonde, then you may get better results, but still not worth this price and it does not match the videos.

Ich kann meinen doch sehr dunklen Ansatz damit großartig kaschieren. Das Puder deckt natürlich nicht völlig ab, aber der dunkel/hell Kontrast wird wesentlich geringer. Wenn mal keine Zeit fürs Nachfärben ist, kann man es mit dem Produkt durchaus etwas hinauszögern...

My hair is white blonde & the WOW covers the only place I have dark roots between salon touch up. My hair grows this white blonde naturally everywhere except now with age & my hairdresser tells me this happens with aging the part at the top of my head grows in dark. I've tried spray root color & it's terrible for my hair color & doesn't work at all. This powder is amazing. I couldn't get it in Canada until recently. I bought it in the States. Wonderful stuff!

Works well for hiding root colour.

El producto llegó dos días antes y en perfecto estado. Es el segundo que compro, porque el tono es para mi color, le falta más brillo y al pasarse los dedos por el cabello se tintan, pero me saca de apuro . Para mí va bien.
