Netgear WN111v2 WN11v2 Wireless-N 300 Usb 2.0 Adapter 300 Mbps

Works perfectly with my Linux server. Using it as an access point with hostapd.

I purchased a Netgear Wireless-N 300 USB Adapter through Amazon from First Class Distributing in December 2014. The devise would not work. I called Netgear for support. Netgear will not support this device because it was manufactured in 2009 and this model is no longer supported. The driver supplied for this device will not work on a Windows 7 OS. I do not want 6 year old technology. I requested return authorization from First Class Distribution. On January 5th I received an email from Amazon Requesting First Class Distributing to resolve this issue. They supplied instructions to use a second disk and use the Vista Driver. I do not have enough geek to make this work. The continued response from First Class Distributing is boilerplate: All returned items are subject to our return policy requirements. We reserve the right to refund the amount we feel necessary based on each situation. Items must be in the same new and sealed condition sent. For defective items please revert to the manufacture for a replacement. I have not received return authorization as of January 13th. I have purchased several items from Amazon and was satisfied with the service and product. Beware of First Class Distributing, they push off on to unsuspecting customers old technology. I do not want old technology.

Once I was able to actually get the device working it does work great. Tech support was useless. The IT tech from the cable company down more time trying to work with this device than the tech support for the product did.

Worked as expected - no issues. This was the second unit I bought. The first one did not come with a USB cable and had to be directly inserted into USB port and was prone to damage

Poor service reply when contacted, No more Netgear for me...

Works great for me. I use it with my Western Digital WD Live TV Plus to connect to internet services.

i purchased this for windows 7. it will not install. i keep getting a message: the netgear wn111v2 adapter is not found.
