Fabulous petticoat
I was delighted with the quality of this garment. You need to know it comes vacuum packed and needs a good shake to restore volume; and then you see it in its 'full' glory. It has a comfy good quality stretch polyester yoke ( Approx. 16cm deep ) with a decent depth elastic at the waist,. To call the skirt section net is an insult; each of the two skirt layers comprises of three tiers of stiff organza, (smooth to the touch, not scratchy ) and each hem is 'wired' with a stiff polyester wire which helps to maintain the shape. The underskirt is soft and not cut too narrow. This is the first petticoat, of this type, that I've bought. Generally I would make my own but with this quality for such a reasonable price I'm glad time constraints pushed me to purchase this petticoat. I have already recommended it to my sister and wouldn't hesitate to buy another colour In the future .

Works for petites
Value for money underskirt. Not too long for petit sizes.Only reason for a 4 star is I think the sizing errs on the small side. If you are 12 maybe try the Large!

Good under skirt
I brought this to go with a Halloween themed 1950 dress. I really made my outfit complete the fabric stiffness really puffed up the dress. The fabric quality is ok is a light weight organza. I have worn may time since I purchased about 4 years ago stitch is only just coming under with the plastic wire is. It fitted me well and was cheap too.

Air it first!
I was ready to trash this until someone suggested I left it on the washing line outside. I did this for around 12hours...In the beginning...The skirt smelled like a stinky carp or fish.No idea how or why...But after a good airing it's fine.It looks well, but under the wrong dress it makes my body look weird. Like karadshian creepy waist to hip ratio XDI think this is expensive for what it is though....

Absolutely delighted with this petticoat!
I am very happy with this purchase! I bought this petticoat to go under a silver and black 'butterfly' dress that I had bought to wear for my daughter's wedding. When it arrived it was vacuum packed, but on opening and shaking it out it expanded to full size. When you put it on the floor it stands up on its own so the ruffles are very full and firm. They are made of a really nice almost silky material - not at all scratchy on your legs.I bought the larger size and it fitted perfectly. The top part is made of a slightly shiny smooth and stretchy material that is very comfortable to wear next to the skin. The length of 25 inches was exactly right for my dress and made it look amazing. Even though I am now in my late 50s I felt like a princess all day and the dress got lots of compliments - but it was really the petticoat that showed it off to it's best advantage.Having seen how expensive similar petticoats are from other suppliers, I feel really lucky to have found this one at such a good price. Absolutely delighted with it!

Just right
Comes in a vacuum pack. Hang it up and fluff it out. It is perfect under my fifties dress.

Vintage petticoat
What a bargain! Great fit and was just what I needed to go with my outfit. Unlike some other petticoats I have had, this was not at all scratchy next to my skin.
