Cellay USB C Adapter

I bout this hub for 2017 MBP non TB. Build material seems good for the price. And it has all the ports that's missing from the Macbook pro. I've tested all the ports and it works for the most part. Here are some things that I don't like about it.1. hub doesn't go all the way into the usb port. So there is a big gap and it doesn't feel sturdy.2. 2nd USB C port doesn't allow connection to external monitor using HDMI to USB C port. So you can only use your HDMI port, which works fine.3. It would have been perfect if microusb would go deeper into the port. About half of the card sticks out.If you can live with these issues, it's definitely worth the price.

This one is not bad. At first it didn't work, then I saw in the description it was for 2016-17 Macbook Pro (I have the 2018 model). However, it worked just fine after I reconnected it just in case. It charges and transfers files just fine. I didn't have problem with transferring large files files. I haven't had the chance to check the HDMI yet. The reason why I give 4 stars is that the connecters that connect this to the laptop are bit too long. It doesn't snuggly fit in the socket. As you can see in the picture, there is a space between the laptop and the adaptor. So, when you connect your USB, you kinda need to hold the adapter or else the top connecter will slip out slightly. The color is not exactly space gray. It has blue tint to it but not that off. Little thicker than the laptop, but I'm not bothered. It's not like I'm going to have this thing attached to my laptop everywhere I go. For $15, I think this seems to be a good adaptor, will try to update my review in a couple of months. 'till then, crossing my fingers it doesn't break down on me.

I really like this dongle. It does have lots of ports that you may find convenient and necessary for daily works. Moving from a normal Mac book pro to the 2018 Mac book pro, the only thing that bothers me was missing the ports for all of my old accessories. I found this dongle with very decent price compared to any other one on Amazon.Pros: very compact, with 6 different ports for your choice. The thunderbold 3 is a plus offering different data transferring speed. I like the HDMI because I have to present every week so it comes in very handy.Cons: I wished the ethernet port were incorporated too. Hopefully when more people demand this option, they will make the 2.0 version with ethernet port. Until then, it is a very decent and affordable product.

When using a MB sometimes you need to actually have io ports. And this thing has got em, letting you use your "antique" usb drives in the modern machine.No pass-through for a USB C display was really my only gripe with this hub, it meant you could only use the HDMI port for display out.I'd say its worth the cost, if you aren't using a USB C monitor

I have become a MacBook follower and have lots of Apple devices. I recently upgraded my 2013 MacBook to the new MacBook released in 2016. One of the big issues I have with the new MacBook is that it only has USB C ports. I have many USB devices that I want to connect and this creates a problem for me. I began searching for a hub. After spending quite some time browsing around I finally chose this one. So far I am very happy with it. It allows me to connect multiple USB devices. The transfer speed to my portable hard drive is fast. Also it has a SD card slot. This came in handy because we were able to pull off our photos from our digital camera before we sold it. Lastly I was surprised that there was a separate adapter included to convert USB C to USB 3.1!

I was concerned from the get go if this would last. It didn't fit into the usb-c slot firmly and I was careful to make sure nothing bumped up against it. But after a week I noticed it was starting to not stay straight while plugged in and disconnecting. I sent it back and tried something else.

Having a MacBook, I needed more USB ports. I saw this, it was reasonably priced and thought Id give it a try. So far, I have no regrets! It comes with three USB ports, a MicroSD slot, and an SD slot. Its nice because I dont need to get another adapter to plug in my MicroSD. It feels durable and doesnt feel heavy. I think my favorite part is that it matches with my laptop!

This hub is a great tool to carry in my laptop bag. It is very lightweight and slim. Since my MacBook has the two ports (USB-C), this allows me to use seven different USB devices at once! Its perfect to connect my phone for data transfers as well as to allow me to connect two different USB sticks and copy from one to the other. In the past I would have had to copy files to my computer and then back to the second USB stick. The additional SD/Micro-SD card readers are an added bonus to make getting pictures from my camera onto my computer that much quicker!
