Ok lets start at the beginning, this is not as easy to install in some vehicles as you think. I have a B5 A4 2001 RHD Audi and the connection on the back or the head unit required some innovative work to get it connected to the adapter. I had to cut the jack in the back of the head unit to accommodate the jack on the adapter. Now the jacks on some head units like the ones in the US separates into three sections but the RHD unit I have come with one complete jack with the wires for the cd changer left out of the jack, so you either cut that section off or try to replace the wires with the ones that are on the adapter. I opted to cut the jack and create the room for the remainder of the original jack and the section from the adapter jack to work in the housing , and it worked just fine . So now I have control of my android and my Mp3 player from the controls on the steering and on the deck.
