Fossil Men Minimalist Carbon Series Stainless Steel and Leather Diamond Accent Dress Quartz Watch

I have been searching for the perfect minimalist watch. One that was not too thin or thick, and one that didn't show the date, with a very simple face. One that looks elegant in any setting. This was it! I bought the black with silver bezel and black strap, as shown in the photo. It definitely is a tiny bite heavier than I'm used to, and the face is a little bit larger than I'm used to, but I know I'll get used to both of that. Got it for just under $70!

I really like the styling of this watch (gunmetal with brown band), and the leather band seems to be of good quality (many aren't). Although the watch is very thin (something I was specifically looking for), I should have paid more attention to the size of the body (44 mm across). It looks large for a watch so thin -- about 40 mm would look better -- but all in all I still like it.

Granted, it's somewhat expensive for the features, but this is a great watch!It's thin and very pleasing on the wrist, with a soft, beautiful leather band. The grey face and cognac band look awesome together. I have this same watch with a blue face and lighter color leather, and though that's also pretty, this one is more versatile. It looks great with a suit; it looks great with blue jeans and a polo shirt.I like that this watch just tells time. It doesn't bother with the date or a chronograph, features that are clunky in today's world. You don't want to roll back the date every month when your phone already has an Outlook calendar. It's more of a functional piece of jewelry than anything else. A nice watch sends a message about professionalism, but it also is useful to just glance at your watch instead of pulling out your phone.It keeps excellent time! I have several Fossil watches and they are all quite good at their basic task, usually with Japanese movements that lose maybe a second or two a month. The mineral glass isn't as good as Sapphire but I haven't had any scratches and I'm rough on my things.Hundreds of people line up to tell me they notice the diamond at 12 o'clock. Just kidding, absolutely no one notices that and I have no idea why they did that. The subtle marks at the cardinal hours and the simple hands looks awesome and are easy to read. I really love the look.It's a touch on the pricey side, hence 4 stars, but there's nothing I don't like about the watch.

Stylish but simple. Manages to look elegant while not being gaudy. Definitely recommend this watch to anyone looking for an everyday wear watch.

Great watch! Got 5 of these for my groomsmen and myself. The head is big on a small wrist but definitely stands out.

Just bought this for my boyfriend's birthday, he loved it! The only thing is that the leather came with a very small scratch.

REVISED:Don’t bother the battery died in less then a month. It’s all show no substance. Save your money and look elsewhere.I wear this as my casual watch everyday since getting it and this far I am pleased. The watch was already set for my time zone upon arrival and I love the minimalist design. I buy and get a lot of watches but most rarely hold up well after 6 months which is why I’m hesitant to give this fossil watch 5 stars. I will update the review good or bad as time passes.

The watch is perfect and loved the little box it came in. The batteries were already inside. It was the perfect gift.
