Monadnock 24.5" Eltimate Straight Style Foam Training Baton-Black

Over the years I have been fortunate to have trained thousands of police officers from all over the world at International Law Enforcement Seminars. I have been training both as a student and instructor for more than 57 years. I have used various types of training batons in my numerous training courses in the past, including this white training baton.This product says this is a BLACK training baton, which I believe is incorrect. I have only used the Monadnock 24.5 Ultimate White Straight Style Foam Training all the years I was involved in training police officers. In any case, I always liked this training baton because it was a sturdy (Says foam but it has a fairly hard body to it)training tool to use in applying the control and takedown techniques of the MEB(Monadnock Expandable Baton) program. I have also used this baton to strike the Monadnock training bags and in most cases this baton held up fairly well; however, it does bend up at times using full power strikes on the bags.You should also know that this baton is NOT designed to use as a striking tool on your training partner, unless he or she is wearing appropriate protective training gear. This baton is hard enough to hurt a person if struck with it in training, even though it is NOT designed to use on the street. A hard plastic or metal baton should be used on the street.In conclusion, whether you are training to use a standard straight baton or an Expandable straight baton, this white Monadnock training baton is a good tool to use in your training programs.Rating: 4 Stars.
