PTFE Powder (Teflon Powder), **MICRO-IONIZED**; (3.25 microns ± 0.25); ~2.47 oz (70 gm)

Have used PTFE powder in the past for sticky musical instrument parts. Worked great. Had a new, novel need for this powder. Painted an interior door, the paint remained soft after weeks of drying. Regardless of the root cause, I was not going to strip and repaint. So, I got this PTFE powder. 'Dusted' the door and worked the powder into the paint a bit in the areas a door makes contact with the stop, jamb, and users hands. Absolute PERFECTO! The result is slick not sticky surface. It's still soft. But does not stick to the mating painted surfaces and is not sticky to the touch. Love me some PTFE powder!

This seems to be the right stuff and the real stuff.

It is a really fine powder that sticks to everything it touches. I could not get the full 70 grams out of it. I used a digital scale to measure the amount I needed (50gm). I dumped everything out into a container and I got 49.7 grams out of the package. I could not get out the powder that was sticking to the inside of the package but I do not believe there were 20 grams sticking to the inside of the packaging it came in. I did get enough for the project I needed. Perhaps there is a better technique in getting the full 70 grams out if there really is that much product in their packages. Perhaps they can add more PTFE knowing that customers cannot get everything out of their packaging resulting in a 70gm net weight once measured out.
