Love this fan. It it easy to handle because it is not heavy at all. I've been running it nonstop for almost 6 weeks so far, in my garage, and it is working just like new. It creates a very strong breeze, yet has multiple speed settings for most needs.Just makes the typical fan buzzing, not too loud.Overall this was a nice purchase, great quality, good mobility, and fantastic price

At the lowest setting it is perfect for making white noise ,it is able to push air very fast and cools off whole rooms with a nice breeze i didnt think it would be this good nice solid metal design no flimsy plastic at all other than the nob but hay that's fine and those beautiful metal blades my god prefect great buy highly recommend

These fans really move some air. Even on the lowest setting, they help keep the whole house cool. I can feel the air move from over 20 feet away. They are a little loud, but if that doesn't bother you, these are highly recommended.

I use this outside on my porch when it 90 F and higher, with a mister. When it gets 100 F or more I add a second mister. I got the mister kit last year and all 5 misters just made the porch wet. Pulled the mister plugged the hole and it works great now. I get a cool mist and my porch stays dry. As for the loudness my wife and I can talk to each other in our normal voice when this is on.

It certainly moves a lot of air and seems well made, but do not plan on having a conversation anywhere within about 30' of it. I can see it being useful in a barn or a greenhouse, but it's pretty useless for a porch or patio. I had already disposed off some of the packaging before I realized just how loud it is, or I would have returned it. As it is, I'll just keep it in storage in case I have a flooded space that I need to dry out.ETA: As it turned out, this was more useful than I had anticipated. I had to do some work (alone) in the basement on one of the really hot days, and this fan was just the trick for keeping it cool enough to function. As if that wasn't enough to make me eat my words, I then had my water heater catastrophically fail and flood the basement. This fan was, in fact, perfect for speeding up the drying process once I got all the water out. So I'm adding back a star. It's still too loud to be used as a porch or patio fan, but it kicks butt as an industrial fan.

This is like a "really" good fan. It may be normal size but it moves a high volume of air. I have a half second floor that gets hot and I have this on the first floor aimed up at the second floor and it completely cools the second floor by exchanging the air. This is a great fan for general use but also for exchanging air between rooms and floors or drying up a spill.

Best 20 inch fan I’ve ever bought worth every penny would recommend to anybody. Wow it’s very powerful. Even on low blows, very hard, built well does have nice cooling vents on the back of fan motor Five Star all the way.

This fan is great! It is a little loud but I don't mind that as I need noise to sleep at night. Easy to put together, light weight and bows like a tornado. Highly recommend
