piece of crap. avoid it at all cost. the springs holding the batteries are substandard and had to be changed out to hold the AA correctly. the mounting for the like was already worn when it arrived. We had to dissemble that and place metal clamping with wing nuts to hold it in place. We later updated the light to run off solar power because it was eating the batteries too fast. Well buyer beware.

This really is a very bright light. Put it on my front porch & it lit up the whole walkway! Just don't look directly at it- so bright it will hurt your eyes.. I really am glad I bought it.

I have been looking for BATTERY-OPERATED motion detector lights for months. These are just what the doctor ordered--works indoors where no "solar light" is found (most others are solar powered).....Easy to install -- just stick up, slight motion and light comes on. Just something you might want to warn buyers about -- when you first put in the 4 AA batteries, the light comes on. It will not turn off --even in the light. Turned on button to off. Took to dark area right away, and it would not light. So,I remembered from some solar lights I bought....they warned that light would come on while "getting started" and turn off in about 30 seconds. So, I tried waiting 30 seconds and the light went out and then only came on in a dark room with motion. Also, please warn buyers that the light is EXTREMELY BRIGHT. I didn't realize and unintentionally glanced at the light for a split second -- and saw a big blue spot before my eyes for quite some time. So, I would suggest that you install so that they do not actually blind the person making the motions. Otherwise, I love them. Bought 4 and planning to buy several more.

The only improvement I would like to see is when you move the side up and down is not very tight. But is does light up the side like it need to. Thanks

So, I've had these lights up for about a week now and I have no real complaints with them. They are very bright and light up the front of my garage and front poach when ever I pass by.On some of the concerns others have had:These light are made pretty cheaply and not sure how long they will last, but they are doing the job at this time. I put a dab of glue on the hinges just to make sure they stay on the position I wanted.I was very careful unscrewing the battery panel since others have said they have stripped the screws. I use my own screwdriver and don't think I'll have any problems replacing the batteries when that time comes since they have been loosened now.I skipped using the adhesive tape and mounted them using the screws provided. Others said the tape doesn't hold.

already noted that i was shipped the cheaper, non-motion activated, non-rotatable tap light by seller (not amazon) and amazon refunded money and told me to keep the atomic tap light (same brand). put new alkaline batteries in it, made sure inserted correctly, and it did not light up. cheap non-working crap--glad i learned before re-ordering the motion-activated atomic light.

This light isnt reliable.after waiting 2weeks for it to arrive I placed it in backyard.it cut on for 30sec.went out.I went out the light.didn't cut back on all night.4am I went out light cut on went out.I walked to where I imagined I be detected light didn't cut back on.6am still waiting.I know the sun will back soon.I'll try again tomorrow.it may pop on by then.

Bought the deluxe model BRIGHT!! However, the double sided tape did not hold the light to the outside of the house. It fell and broke. I am now out of $30+ dollars. The double sided tape does not hold as advertised!!!!
