A Unique Product and it's TOOOTALLY worth it
Ours works perfectly on arrival and I ALMOST couldn't be happier. First of all, Mattel just bought Nabi so all the customer service nightmares you've read about will hopefully be discontinued. Second, this thing is HUGE! I'm glad we went with the 24" over the 20"...it's only money, right? Anyway, I'd advise to buy with confidence...the biggest problem people have had is with the charger but ours, once again, works great. The biggest issue I have with the Nabi Big Tab is that is absolutely does NOT come with the advertised 16Gig storage space. However, I've been downloading from Google Play Store AND Nabi and am not even close to maxing out. So I'm not worried about it. If you have kids (more than one, especially), this will make their year. I've got a 3, 6, and 7 yr old and they all have been enamored with this product. Sure, a slot for extra memory would be nice. Yeah, a screen this big should absolutely have an HDMI out. But the bottom line is this: for under $400, you're getting a 2 foot tablet loaded with multiplayer games and learning apps. For me, this product provides something of a one-of-a-kind experience unique to the tablet marketplace and I just couldn't resist grabbing one for our kiddos despite the smattering of ho-hum reviews and complaints.

Low battery life
I really like the tablet, probably more than the kids. But the battery life is really short as far as continuous use maybe 2 hours. Also the way it was manufactured the camera hole was misaligned so all of our pictures have a black blur on 25% of the screen.

Great family fun
Purchased this for our 3 year old and 10 year old grand daughters and their entire families love it. Built in games cover all ages. Ability to play up to 4 people at a time involves their whole families. Was the hit of the Xmas season.

BATTERY PROBLEM!
Battery will not charge, emailed seller and waiting for response. immediately after unplugging it will shut off and stay at 0% while you try to charge it. Will be returning if no solution is found. Other than that the tablet is pretty amazingUpdate 01/17/15 Spoke to Julie at Nabi customer service, was very nice and only waited on the phone for 4 minutes on a saturday afternoon. She states that some of the Nabi units were not meant to stay off of the charger at all and that I probably have one of the said units. i don't know how I feel about that info as I purchased the unit in hopes that I could take it off power for at least a few minutes in order to move it around once in a while as so does my little guy. I relayed that to Julie at which time she said that they are working on another update to take care of the battery problem. She also added that she does not have an eta on the update. If they do not let me know in the next week then i am returning the tablet as I feel that they should have had a little more info regarding this issue at the time of purchase. Again, other than the battery issue this thing is freakishly big and entertaining but its the "principality of the situation :)"

This large tablet is pretty fun to play with
This large tablet is pretty fun to play with. Obviously it's a bit inconvenient with portrait mode apps and games but otherwise compatibility is good with ability to play reasonably demanding 3D games. The default password to exit parent mode is zxcv6789.Main downside for me is that mine never charges up -- and the charger tip connecting to this beast of a tablet is fairly flimsy so there are plenty of times when it would be much more convenient to have it unplugged. The battery issue is apparently quite common -- it will turn off the moment it is unplugged. Emailed Nabi support (which they ask repeatedly for you to do) but the email bounced because their mailbox was over quota.

If it doesn't work to start with, don't assume that Nabi will fix it for you! Return it!
At this point I'm not happy. Since the day I plugged it in the battery has not charged.Per the instructions I contacted Nabi directly with the info they provided in the packaging. Never received a reply to my e-mail. Called multiple times and was told by the automated system "expected wait is over 1 hour". I finally decided to just wait it out since it didn't appear to make a difference when/what time I called. Called at open of business and waited nearly and hour and half to talk to a real person. After another 20 minutes, I was told that I had a defective product and would need to send it in to Nabi. I would have to pay for the shipping and it would be 10-14 days before I could expect it back (maybe longer because of the holiday season). Seeing as how this was defective right out of the box, I asked if they would ship me a new charger to see if that was the problem, she answered no. I'm not willing to shell out money to have it repaired. I will be returning to Amazon and hopefully have a new one before I could ever get it back from Nabi.Overall I really like the tablet! I also don't mind using it plugged in all the time, but I also want it to perform as it should. Just like the title says, if it doesn't work then don't plan on using it and hoping Nabi can fix it for you. I had high hopes but unless the return and hopefully replacement tablet works flawlessly I'm not sure that I will choose to work with a Nabi product again.

Nabi Big Tab HD 24"
I purchased this for my grandkids last Christmas. The best thing I can say is that here it is June and they still love it and play with it almost every day (ages 6 and 5). The size allows them to play at the same time or alone. Usually Christmas gifts are gone or forgotten a couple of months after Christmas. The Nabi Big Tab HD 24" has been an exception.

Great TV/Tab
I own 2 of these tablets and love them both. The only drawbacks is the low battery life and low volume. We plug in external speakers when watching TV shows. That being said, it's a great mobile TV/Tablet. We stream Netflix and SlingTV on here. Also, once you receive your nabi, run a device update to get the YouTube app to work.
