These worked really well for our blacklight dance party. We had a fairly large room and these units were enough to fluoresce the whole space. The lights have a warning attached that they get hot, and they do get quite warm, so be careful where you set them. I've only used them for the one party, but it was several hours and they all worked great. They seem sturdy and were easy to set up.

These lights have proven themselves worthy. I’ve had them for a while now and I leave them on for hours sometimes days at a time and not a single one has burned out on me. I was skeptical of their size upon opening the box but sometimes big things come in small packages. They light up anything neon super bright. The lights themselves don’t look super bright but they make my art pop unlike some old fluorescent tubes I was using before. LED is the way to go for black lights for sure. They do get warm but I have handled them while on and they didn’t burn me or anything. Not saying to go grab one when it’s been on for a couple hours. The housing and mounts seem durable but not the strongest material either, which is probably why the don’t weigh too much. Never tried to submerge one or spray water on them when on to see how water resistant they are. Don’t recommend doing that either… I just know from experience that electricity, water, and myself don’t exactly mix too well.🤪 The lighting exceeded my expectations and I have a couple more for backup when one burns out. Overall good buy!

Bought 4 have had them for a long time 4 or 5 plus years two finally just burnt out two still work perfect. Id say good little lights for what you pay. Happy with yhe time i got.

I bought these for my classroom glow party and they were very bright and effective. Yes, they will get a little bit hot, but that is to be expected. I kept mine on for hours and they ended up doing just fine. Just don’t leave them on unsupervised.

These work great but they do get VERY hot to the touch. I haven’t had an issue with leaving them on during the party for a few hours, but they do make me nervous.

I was debating between this and UV LED flood lights but I ultimately chose to buy this. It seems to better suit my purposes. As I have UV reactive items scattered across the room I prefer that the intensity isn't that strong and the output better spread out. The flood light versions have a high intensity at the center with output dropping off near the sides. The 5' cord and on/off switch are also useful. The floodlight comes with a short cord meaning you'd have to connect it to a 3 prong extension cord or have it located close to an outlet. It also did not have an on/off switch making it less convenient to selectively power on. The last reason I chose this over flood lights is the way it stands. Both are probably meant to be permanently mounted but as I'm doing temporary gigs, that's not as convenient to use. Having this sit on various surfaces and being able to point the light is fantastic. The flood light has no such option since it's top heavy and doesn't have a proper stand. These light bars do. The output is consistent and even though our eyes aren't truly adjusted to view UV light, it sure looks bright. Reactive items look quite bold and stand out incredibly. Getting 3 unit as oppose to 2 for a similar price is a better deal.

Only downside is they run hot. After 30 min the entire case is above 108 degrees F according to my thermal probe gun. Not a good idea for bedrooms or any medium size room unless you have vaulted ceilings. Plenty bright, they don't use an efficient bulb. LED doesn't put off anywhere near this much heat. You must use the mounts because they will leave a mark on whatever you place them on, they are too hot to hold after 2 hours. Great coverage, I'd say they'll work with a 18x25 room no prob. You can go larger of you don't need it to be too bright, like a skate rink or dance floor. They might be intended for commercial use so pardon my heat comments if that's the case.

These lights are awesome and turned the whole room into a fest.
