My pottery students love this.
My students have been using this tool to smooth out leather hard or bone dry clay. We like the smoothness and uniform texture it gives a finished ceramics piece. It is easy to use and seems to be good quality. It can get of little clumps of clay that have attached to the bottom of the piece during the building process. It fits well in the hand. I recommend it for the pottery studio.

Great tool
Great tool to shave extra clay and even out your greenware

Good tool for shaping styrofoam.
I have used this kind of tool to shape styrofoam for years. I somehow lost my old one and replaced it with this. My old one worked on both forward and backwards strokes which was nice. This one sometimes will only shave going 1 direction but if you just go with it, it does a terrific job. Does both detailed work and big area work. Would recommend and buy again.

Nice size, well worth the value price.
Nice size weather using with the grip or just the blade. Easy in and out. Works well on not quite set bondo. Using a cheese grater before the product is rock hard lets you get to final stage sanding much quicker. Works fine on fiber reinforced filler too.
