The Lotus Ball is the original treat-dispensing pull-apart toy! This stimulating, reward-based toy will keep your dog in the game when you are training. The three parts of the ball or "petals" are lined with Velcro so that the dog can open the ball and get to the treats inside without destroying the toy. There's a nylon webbing loop sewn to the bottom of the Lotus Ball that you can use to attach a rope, handle, or leash to the toy for chase games. Lotus Balls are an excellent toy for food-motivated dogs so that you can throw their reward during your agility training, and dog trainers around the country have come up with innovative ideas for using Lotus Balls to teach contacts, distance skills, and much more! These are the only real Lotus Balls available. So accept no substitutes! The Small Lotus Ball is 3.5" in diameter. Note: The Lotus Ball is a dog training tool, and is not intended to be given to the dog for self-play. Your dog should be supervised whenever you are using the toy with treats inside.

Very well made training aid
The lotus ball from Clean Run was recommended by my agility instructor.I use in to excite my dog and as a reward during her run.The ball is sturdy and has withstood excited pawing to open it to get the treat.Delivery was very fast.

Great training tool
I use these as a high value reward for my treat motivated Cocker. She is nuts for them and it ups her attention and performance when this is the reward. New ones have a tight Velcro but as the toy is used the Velcro gives more and I feel the harder pull at first means it will last longer over time. I done let her play with this as a toy. It’s a useful training tool but I’m sure it would not last as a chew toy.. it isn’t designed to be a chew toy.

A MUST for food driven dogs!!
One of my dogs simply does NOT like to tug or fetch, she just likes FOOD. Well, the only thing better than just food is food given inside of this ball. She thinks it is the BEST! She wouldn't be doing as well as she is in agility without it. If your dog is food driven, you really must try this ball. It does require some training at first especially because it is difficult to open for the dog when the velcro is new.

Super strong velcro, too strong perhaps?
Works well and engages my dog. He can open the velcro but it is almost too strong. I would not let you put that off buying this product but just be aware that some dogs may have a tough time getting to that cookie you put inside.

Search and rescue (treats), great play and training tool!
I have a Berner, and for those who have pups that don’t enjoy retrieving this is a great toy to use with high value treats and have your dog find the ball and get the reward! Also, it’s a great training tool! Highly recommend for your non-aggressive chewers. It’s held up very well through many sessions

My dog loves these. Maybe too much.
I taught my mature rescue dog to play with this toy. It was really great progress for her. Now she loves to shred them to pieces so unfortunately I don't think I will keep buying them since they only last a few days.

Seems durable and a great interactive puzzle toy
I haven't actually been able to use this yet as my puppy won't join our family for another month, but this toy came highly recommended by a friend who has 3 dogs and they all love this toy, not to mention it has held up to the test of time with obvious wear and tear - but still in 1 piece and being enjoyed by 3 playful dogs.
