Solid brand. Worth the money.
These are the brand Gis we wear in our Dojo. In training I wear the heavy weight, but have lightweight as well. There of good quality, but beware to ***wash in cold water, and hang dry***The lightweight will shrink tremendously. I made this mistake on my first Gi.The heavyweight, a small bit.

100% cotton, very soft, comfortable, airy & well fitting!
I'm M/6ft/187lbs with regular dad-body! This Gi fit me very well - and is very soft, comfortable, airy & well fitting! The cloth is 100% cotton and shrinked alot after 1st wash. Fits well after 1st was as well. The accompanying white belt if pretty hefty, wide, sturdy built too.I first ordered size 6, but that looked like 2 sizes bigger for me. Hence got size 5.Overall, I loved this Gi!

This is a great gi once you figure out the right size to order!
I bought one of these in a size 5. It fit pretty well right out of the pack. I am 5 foot 11 1/2 " inches tall and about 180. The gi shrunk after the first wash about 3 or 4 inches. I believe this one is real 100% cotton. It is very soft compared to the Ronin Middle Weight gis, especially right out of the pack.I have found that for me, I need to order a size larger in this gi to make it fit right after it shrinks. I went back and ordered a size 6, and even though it was huge on me, I washed it in warm water, and it actually almost shrunk too much! So be careful. Now I only was the gi in cold water, and it seems to not be shrinking anymore and it fits pretty good. I sort of wish the pants had a little more room to move around, I almost consider buying a size 7 just to shrink down so that the pants will fit more roomy.I believe Ronin would be the perfect gi if they made the gusset in the pants twice as big and give much more hip, crotch and leg room for high kicks. To me, this lightweight gi is much more comfortable and breathes so much better than the middleweight gi Ronin makes. That one is very nice, but it is not nearly as soft and cottony feeling and supple as this one. The lightweight gi will shrink a lot too, so you will probably have to at least buy a size larger, and I am even considering buying another one two sizes bigger just to make it shrink down t a more roomier feeling gi than the one I have now that is a size 6.These are very comfortable for hot weather and humidity, the other gis do not seem to breath at all, almost like they have a bit of polyester in them, but maybe I just haven't washed them enough and softened them up. The lightweight gi is great right out of the pack, super comfortable and soft, just be aware it will shrink a lot if you use anything but cold water. Better to order a size up in my opinion!

Pleasantly Surprised
After reading the reviews I still wasn't quite sure what to expect. For those of you out there like me, whose kids are ready for a better gi than the paper thin, cardboard-stiff one you currently own, this is great. The more I wash it the softer it gets. Looks and feels so much nicer than those horrible ones all of our poor kids have to endure when they start karate. I assumed all gis were created equal. NOT! It's like night and day. Yes, it's not cheap but it's something that lasts. Trust me, it's worth the splurge if you or your kid dread putting on that costume-quality one your instructor encouraged you to get!

Quality, Mid weight, and basic
Great basic gi. It’s mid weight, but very light. Wrinkles like crazy, but that’s the price you pay for cotton. It feels great. Slightly shorter and narrower than comparable brand sizes. Not too much.

Nice gi
My wife shortened it up for me and it's a great mid level gi.

Looks great and is a decent quality
I purchased this for my son's role-playing videos he and his friend like to make. The gi is excellent quality, fits nicely. Now, if only I could get him to do some real martial arts training. Unfortunately, my black belt in Shotokan hasn't encouraged him.
